Let's start out by saying that there are different types of Mary Sues. So, so many. Some are obvious Mary Sues, others are not. But because I have seen Mary Sues that have become very popular, I thought it would be a good idea for you guys to learn about them.

~The Obvious
Now this one should be... Obvious. Sorrynotsorry. But still, it should be obvious what this type is like. Your average multicolored popular/suicidal overly powered goddess. I'm not even kidding, but I have become across oc's like that. But since we all know what a obvious Mary Sue is, I'm not really going to waste space on talking about. It's just so stupid.

~The Villain
This type is very common in the creepypasta fandom. But that's kinda expected, since this type is commonly killers, theifs, etc. But these Mary Sues are also known to have rough, or just plain shitty backgrounds. Like they get raped or bullied, then they go insane or find out they're the "chosen one" or something. It's actually kind of stupid. Now I'm not saying every evil character is a Mary Sue, just that they can be. So when you're trying to make a evil oc, remember that even bad people had a nice side. Everyone does, though it can be hard to get on their good side; there is always a good side to everybody.

~Goody two shoes
This type is also obvious. This type is always the good side and has no bad side. At all. Mary Sues that go into this category are so nice and kind and... cutesy (ew), I really hate looking at oc's. Because I know I will come across them all the time. But let's get this out of the way, they are too nice. And yes, there is such a thing. Now some people might say "My oc is the protagonist and protagonists are always good." And to those people I have something to say. My struggle (by Adolf Hitler) and Death Note. The main character is not always good. And just because they are, it doesn't mean they're FLAWLESS. No one, I repeat, no one is perfect. So quit trying, nor make your character perfect.

~The Immortal/Goddess/God
Ah yes, the flat out over powered Gods. The "chosen ones", "The Last of their Kind", "Magical Royalty", or "The Savior". Ugh, if everyone of them were what their creator wanted them to be, then we would be drowning Gods, Immortals, and other stupid stuff.

~The Undertow
There are too many famous oc's that are Undertow Mary Sues. THERE ARE TOO MANY OC'S THAT ARE UNDERTOW MARY SUES. Now say it with me, there are too many oc's that are Undertow Mary Sues. It's actually sad that the number of Undertow oc's is so high. If almost makes me want to stop looking at oc's and quit all my fandoms. Almost. Just talking about them makes me sick. Just know that a good chunk of famous oc's area Undertow Mary Sues. Trust me, I know.

~The Rip-Off
Sadly, this one is all too common. I see too many "______ the Killer" these days. Rip offs are in every fandom, no matter what. I'm sorry, but no fandom is safe. I hope all of you know what a rip off is, brayer that is exactly what alot of oc's are. So when you create oc's, try to create something new.

~The Sibling
This kind is slightly okay, but not all the time. Unless you can make a very logical and still fits into canon oc whom is related to a "canon", then good job. Because I have one, but she had a logical reason to be living, makes sense and isn't over powered. The only reason why she survived alot of things is because of the parasite living in her body. 'Cause hey, a parasite needs a host. But still, when you make a oc that is related to a "canon", be careful.

~The Persona
This type I'm okay with the most and I let go the most. To me, when someone makes a epic persona, it helps them see themselves as someone better than who they are. So most times I'm okay with it, just... just try not to over power them.
