chapter 5: convenience store

Y/n POV :

As I got ready I put on my nice shoes and clothes plus they were the only ones I could find. Since the rest of the clothes were in boxes.

I packed a bag so I can carry back the ingredients

I was ready, I grabbed my keys on the way out and took out my phone

I started looking for the convenience store and found it

The directions were leading me the long way so I looked for a short cut

I went through an Alley and then as I was walking I heard some clattering

I keeped on walking thinking I was hearing things then I heard it again

I looked around and then I noticed that there we as some movement coming from a couch seeming to be abandoned

I got closer and then there pounced out a kitten, she had white paws and gray fur with white

I looked at her in shock she looked shocked as well I got up not wanting to scare the kitten I started dusting myself and the kitten which started grooming itself

I looked at her neck she had no collar and she seemed a little dirty too

I started getting worried as I was back on my way to the convenience store. Since I was heading there already I decided to get some food for the kitten.

I walked in and the cashier greeted me
I started looking for the ingredients to make cookies

all I had left was cat food and sugar

I was making my way there
Then I heard some else come in and the cashier greeting them

My curiosity got the best of me as I started to peek through the aisles and then there he was the boy with blond hair

I panicked and hid behind the aisle I started to panic

As I was getting the last can of the cat food I turned and there he was right behind me

He had his arm up like as if he was reaching something he looked down at me

I was blushing my whole face turned red and I was so embarrassed I closed my eyes

I felt like dying I was hoping I was imagining things I opened my eyes again and noticed he was looking the other way

I then spoke "excuse me but you're blocking the way" I said trying not to sound flustered

He then moved out of the way and said "sorry"

I then went to the cashier and paid for the ingredients and left

I started walking to the alley again

Then I saw the kitten and went and opened a can of cat food while putting it on the floor

as I was opening the can I felt the cat rubbing against my legs

I felt happy and just stared at the cat while it was eating

I was wondering if the cat had an owner and thinking if I could take it home

Mom obviously wouldn't mind because she always wanted a cat

But I just wondered if the cat would be happy or if it had an owner

I was still thinking about it and then I heard a voice

All  I heard was "here kitty kitty kitty"

I got up and noticed the boy with blonde hair also had cat food

We just stared at each other.
