"nick? like Nick Jonas" I question as he glares at me, causing me to lift my hands up in surrender "okay before I die I would just like to say that it was the first thing to come in mind okay? blame that not me"

"who said you were dying?" he says his face painted with confusion as I hear karl giggle a bit

"um" I pause searching his face while holding back a laugh "you're face?"

"it's true" karl speaks up while nodding "very true, speak you're truth y/n"

"come on karl when have I ever looked at you that way?"

"um, every day?" he shrugs "I don't know"

"if you don't know then why did you say that"

"that I don't know either, leave me alone" karl responds causing me to let out the laugh I've been holding in for 2 minutes now, earning a look from them both

"it was funny, don't look at me like that, I'm sure if you were in my spot you would've laughed as well" I scoff as I proceed to walk away from them, towards a diner across the street, hearing the bells ring together as I walk inside sitting down on a stool

"to be fair" I hear karl say from behind me, sitting down next to me "he gives me that look as well, so don't think you're the only one"

I hum in response, looking down at the menu as he closes it shut making me look up at him in confusion opening it back up as he does the same thing over and over again

"what are you doing?"

"closing it? what does it look like I'm doing?"

"closing it"

"exactly" he says looking at the door and sighing "he said he was coming inside I don't know what's taking him so long"

"maybe he's having his fun without us" I gasp looking over at karl "if he is, what a traitor"

"or he probably went home? but still, that's betrayal" karl agrees as we both look at each other before proceeding to walk out of the diner, no nick in sight

"I honestly have no idea why I ever agreed to this" I say while putting on Karls headset, his mouse hovering over a 'start stream' button, almost like he wants me to click it already, which I do, instantly feeling a wave of regret washing over me

look, I've never really been a fan of streaming or streamers in general, and both nick and karl know that, which causes me to think this was the whole point of making me stream for him today, to get my annoyance of streaming cured

the only reason I agreed was because Nick wouldn't stop making puppy dog eyes at me, while also frowning which wins me over every.single.time and I've tried to make it stop but it just doesn't

"I'm pretty sure you're supposed to say something?" Nick sarcastically questions as I sigh and smile at the camera that's placed on top of the computer

"hey guys" I wave while the chat starts pouring with questions about who I am, and what I'm doing with them

"um" Karl starts while looking over at nick "she's our friend chat, I think that's all you need to know" he finishes as I look at him confused

"I only met you like a day ago"

"so you're not our friend?" nick sarcastically questions as I shrug while looking around on Karl's computer, seeing minecraft open already

"you play minecraft?"

"of course, I'm a streamer, that's mostly sometimes all I play" he responds pulling up a chair next to me

"in all honesty, I may have told you guys I don't really like video games but aside from animal crossing I think minecraft is pretty cool" I say hearing a scoff from behind me, quickly turning around to see nick shaking his head, looking back at me

"pretty cool? that's all you have to title minecraft as?"

"um, yeah?"

"people can have opinions, calm down nick" Karl calmly says before handing me his mouse, smiling at me as he gets up and walks out of the room

"I'm going with Karl, do you want anything from the kitchen?"

"um, whatever there is I'll gladly take" I sigh shaking my head "sorry for being semi harsh with you, I'm not used to this whole streaming stuff"

"that's fine, you'll get used to it in a few months or days if you want to continue streaming"

"isn't he waiting for you downstairs?" I nervously ask, god I don't know what is wrong with me, why I'm so nervous or why I have been nervous but I brush it off as he walks out turning back to the stream
