The next day, they went through the routine of talking about random things before they separated to their respective bedrooms to get ready. Loup put on the suit before doing a light layer of makeup to cover any blemishes that might be seen along with a light dusting on his eyes to make his pretty sea glass eyes pop just a bit more.

He fluffed his hair a bit before leaving the room and going to the living room. He only had to wait a few moments before Yongsung was out in the living room as well. Yongsung was wearing a black suit with a burgundy tie, and he looked gorgeous. His hair was tousled in a way that made it purposely messy, in a the best way.

"Looks like someone can dress up," Loup teased. Yongsung pouted, then gave Loup a once over.

"You look stunning," he stated simply. Loup smiled at him in appreciation before they both went to the door to collect their shoes and make sure they had everything.

They decided to just walk to the event, seeing as it wasn't a long walk and it would give Loup a chance to explore the city a little more. It also gave him time to be sure he had the proper vocabulary for the night. He wanted to use the translator the least amount possible, if at all. It was going to be his way of fitting in, though his accent was very noticeable and would probably botch his plans.

The city's lights were beautiful as they walked through the streets, the constant hum of cars and other city sounds creating a lulling background. Loup loved it. They went over random unfamiliar words that Loup had been taught for the night and he was sure he had them down pact by the time they arrived at the building for the banquet.

They entered the door and met an employee by the door who checked off Yongsung's name and added a plus one to show he wasn't alone on the roster. They were then allowed to pass through the security and entered a large room filled with tables and people. There were groups of people scattered throughout and there were tables that held a name tag at each chair. They decided to go look for their seat before doing anything else.

They wound up finding it shortly after. It was next to a window that overlooked the street below and there was already a group of people filling the rest of the spots.

When they sat down, the people looked at Loup in shock. Loup expressed his confusion and Yongsung noticed his discomfort.

"Guys, leave him alone, you're making him uncomfortable!" He scolded. They quickly apologized and expressed their shame of themselves.

"Sorry, were just very surprised he actually got somebody to come with him. He's been alone at every event since he started working here so many years ago," one male apologized.

"It's alright, I don't mind," Loup replied.

"So, where are you from?" One girl asked.

"I'm from France," He replied.

"Oh, I've always wanted to go to Paris! What is France like?" One of the other girls asked.

"Oh um, it's alright. I like it, but I find myself liking it here just as much," Loup replied with a smile.

"Your Korean is fantastic. How long have you been speaking it?" One male asked.

"About five-ish months now, I believe," Loup replied. They expressed sounds of shock around the table.

"Don't you think you should introduce yourselves before you attack him with questions? Yongsung chased.

"Right! Sorry, my name is Sua it's nice to meet you," the girl who had asked him about France introduced.

"My name is Jewoo," the other girl said, waving.

"Changyoo," one male chimed, raising his hand.

"Hi, I'm Taeooa," the girl who had yet to say anything introduced.

"And I'm Deongjem and this is Deongwon," one male said, pointing to himself and the male sitting next to him. They looked identical and judging by their names, he assumed they were twins. He looked for details to differentiate the two and only found that the shade of their eyes were slightly different.

"My name is Loup. It's nice to meet you all," Loup replied.

"We're going to go get something to eat from the buffet before its too late. We'll be back," Yongsung interjected as he stood. Loup pursued the motion, not wanting to be left alone with a group of practical strangers in a place where he barely grasped the language.

They approached the buffet table, grabbing a plate and following the line of people. Loup was lucky he could handle spice or everything at this table would have killed him. Having been adopted at a young age by an Indian woman who moved to France, he was very well acquainted with spice.

They sat back down when their plates were filled and started talking with their table members. Yongsung had previously warned Loup about each of them. Telling him they were nice at first, but to be careful how much he let his guard down. Loup, of course, took his words to heart.

It was around half an hour later when the main event finally started. There was a speech about how appreciative they were for the donators and more sentimental words like that.

The event seemed to move at a snails pace and by the time they could leave; they were both almost ready to sleep. Though, each others presence had made it slightly more tolerable. On the walk back they complained about how miserable it was and Yongsung joked that it just took away from the time he could have been learning French. Loup enjoyed the bickering between them and the contrast between the languages. When they got back to the condo they went to their rooms to change into something comfortable and get ready for bed before meeting back in the living room to continue talking.

They spoke about when Loup would have to go back home (in a week) and what they should do before then. They also discussed Yongsung visiting France with Loup, so they started making plans for that. Yongsung yawned, and they decided it was late enough for them to go to bed.

Hello readers how was the banquet? So in case you noticed, I updated early (today rather than tomorrow) and the reasoning behind that is it's my little sister's birthday tomorrow and I figured I shouldn't plan on being able to publish in case some family comes over for something small. She will be having friends over on Friday (also my other publishing day) but I will still be publishing though it will probably be a little earlier than usual. I figured it would be better to update early rather than late. But things will be back to normal by next Monday.

Anyway, what is a place you really want to visit?

If you liked it please vote and comment!
