Birthday Gift

Chapter Fifteen

For around two months after that louis and Harry spent a lot of time with each other.

they went on multiple dates but harry never rushed anything or forced anything upon louis. instead he stayed patient and calm and gave Louis the liberty to work on his pace.

after two months when they had been on a recent date that night and louis thought that he was ready to move forward with his relationship they both stood outside Louis' door and louis finally asked the question.

"will you be my boyfriend harry?" Louis asked.

the question took harry by surprise as he had never expected to hear this from Louis. he thought that he will be the one to ask the question but he was proven wrong then.

harry dazed out for a bit thinking about all this. he was plainly staring at Louis. he was way to surprised to say anything. he stared at Louis with his mouth agape for a few minutes before snapping out of his daze and answering louis,"of course I will lou lou" he said.

Louis threw himself on harry and Harry elegantly caught him. he connected their lips and enforced a lot of passion and happiness into the kiss.

when they pulled back they both had a smile on their face that nothing in the world could wipe from their faces.

"thanks for this birthday gift baby" louis told to harry.

"what birthday gift lou?" harry asked

"agreeing to be my boyfriend," Louis said with a shrug, "what else."

harry just brought louis back in a kiss. similar to the last one but lasting a little longer.

"i have an actual gift too."harry said to Louis and put his hand in his jacket's pocket. he pulled out a box and opened it to reveal a silver necklace with a paper plane pendant

"oh baby you did not have to"louis said.

harry rolled his eyes and then took the necklace out of the box and put it around Louis' neck. he stepped back and examined the output. he smiled at Louis and stepped closer.

"you should go to sleep now lou. you look tired." harry concluded.

"i know. i think I should. i love you Harry." Louis replied and pecked harry on his lips.

harry wrapped his arms tightly around Louis' waist and pulled him closer to his chest.

"i love you too Louis, more than you can imagine." harry said and peppered Louis' entire face with soft kisses making louis giggle.

he did it over and over again till louis was laughing and then finally kissed his lips.

they said their final byes and louis entered his house.

his mother was sitting on this couch and right from there without even looking up she asked Louis,"so was it just one of your many flings?"

Louis could feel the smirk in her voice. he walked to the couch lied down beside his mother and put his head in her lap. she immediately started stroking his hair.

"no mum, he is harry and my new boyfriend." Louis replied.

"but again is he just a fling?" his mum repeated her question.

"no mum. i love him."
