Astrophel took the letter out of his pocket after the second task. His initials were written neatly on the outside. No one but his friends ever wrote to him, and he knew this was not any of their hand writing.
He did not trust this letter and he was just staring at the sealed envelope. Something in him screamed to open it, but he could not trust it. He decided to wait to open it. Where he could use certain magic undetected. So he put it away neatly with his belongings.
He lived blissfully, forgetting about the letter. He quite enjoyed seeing Potter being almost killed several times. It really did bring him a lot of joy, though he could not really explain why besides hating the guy. Maybe he was a little sadistic. Just a little.
