Chapter 18-Christmas Dinner.

That night it was now time for dinner so we had turkey , mashed potatoes , corn and some bread it was actually a good Christmas dinner and I would be staying over for the night I had already texted my mom and asked her if I could so she was okay with it. We all had a great time and a good dinner as well.

"Is it good?" Bobby asked me after he had chewed his food , since it was my first time trying his parents's cooking for Christmas. "Yes it's pretty good." I nodded as I smiled after chewing my food as well. "Good to hear." He smiled . "Mrs. Keller you are a very good cook." I had told her as I smiled. "Aww thank you ." She smiled . "You're welcome." I smiled back.

Bobby had heard a dog outside barking he wasn't sure who's dog it was that was out there but he did hear it though. "Mom who's dog is that out there that's barking?" He asked curiously as he held his fork in his hand then picked something up on it. "That dog that's barking right now is the one next door our neighbours dog think the dogs name is Charlie ." She replied to his question that he had asked. "Ah alright just was curious ." He smiled . "Alright." She said as she smiled back at him too as well.

With that they all continued eating their food at the dinner table in the kitchen while Christmas music played on the stereo as they ate together I had sat next to Bobby and his mom sat next to his dad.

The dog outside kept barking and barking nobody knew why exactly so the owner had went to let the dog in finally then the dog stopped barking finally once the dog was let in of course so maybe that's why the dog had started barking like that cause it wanted to be let in.
