"The Vision"

(Maria Pov)

After we followed upstairs to were the Rats were going, we start to chaise them down while they were carrying the visions

"Where are they going..?" I question as we try to follow them

Until we came to a stop that one of the rats were trying to escape behind a painting

Mirabel looks on closer to the painting, I start to look behind us seeing thunderstorms start to grow stronger, until Mirabel calls for my name

"Maria, look.." she says, as she pushes the painting as it opened itself

"Theres...a hole?" I ask, looking through the hole as it was gloomy and dark..

"Where do you think this leads too?" Mirabel asks me, I shrugg my shoulder

"Only one way to find out" I say as I walked through the hole, I turn back around and reach for my hand for Mirabel to come in as well. As she does and continue walking forward

Spider webs were all over the place, until we see a crack start to grow like a vine, I gulped as I exhale my breath

"I don't know about this place pleasebut...I have a feeling we might going the right direction.." I tell her before a rat runs underneath us and over to a dark corner, carrying another vision in its mouth

Until we see the vision get picked up. We gasps until the thunderstorm started. Making lightning strike, creating a light flash before our eyes. As what came to view was a man with a green hood pacha flash before us

Mirabel gasps at who it was until she grabbed my arm

"Who...it was..." she says, before she can say anything else

I was shaken, as I felt my stomach flutter as I felt my breath stop

"...Bruno..." I whispered, as I shake the feeling. I grab onto Mirabels arm as start to run after him

It happened so fast, it was a race against time. As we see from the distance, we see Bruno running away

"Hey! Wait!" Mirabel yelled, chasing after him, Mirabel running behind me as I start to give out everything and gave out every bit of energy I had to catch Bruno

"Stop! Come back!!" I yelled, as I see him jump into something and swung himself over some poles

I did the same thing as Mirabel followed behind me, until then we see stairs were form above us, and Bruno was running right above us

We look over to see the wooden stairs blocking our way, I gulped but determined

"Slide!" I yell, as I slide down. Kicking the wood out of my way and grabbed onto Mirabel to quickly get up as we than run after him once again

"W-wait!!" I yell, giving out all of our energy we had to gain and to get him. But no matter he was fast, no matter how fast we were to catching him. We weren't able to catch him.

After we were close to getting him, I felt my dress get tugged back, as I see Bruno jump into the side of the wall with skill and athletic experience from climbing or jumping onto walls

"Maria, wait!!" Mirabel yells before pulling me back, knocking us both on our butts. Making us gasps as we look over to see a pit of darkness below, a gap from down below

As we got up, we looked on over to see him take a corner and ran away from there, I can't let him leave. Not yet, not after all these years.

"Maria, what do we do next?" Maribel asks me, I look on over, thinking of how to cross before I turn to her
