Chapter 7

"What if we sang Jay Chou's 'Rainbow'?" Kang Wen suggested.

"Okay.." Jackson mumbled.

They had finally agreed to just do the punishment as a group and we're currently trying to decide what song to sing. Or what they're going to do.

The troop were still in school. It was break and they were taking every opportunity they could to crack their brains open and decide what to do.

"Hmm... I don't know.. I was thinking, rock." Karry muttered, scrolling through the music in his phone.

Kang Wen sighed, they'd been at this for God knows how long. Every song she suggested, Karry or Roy disagreed.

The only person who's been agreeing with everything and everyone is Jackson.

"Mmhmmm..yea..rock." Jackson nodded, immersed in what he was doing.

Flipping through pages and pages or words on whales.

Seriously, whales!!

*Kang Wen's POV*
I can't handle it anymore.

I think I'm about to burst.

How did I handle these three boys last time?

Oh yes, I made them do what I want them to do.

I could do that now too.. Except... THEY DONT FREAKING KNOW WHO I AM!

And daddy told me to be patient. Ugh.

I sighed, holding in my temper.

I gave Karry and Roy each a pointed look to which they didn't see, and then turned to Jackson who was still reading up on whales.

Like, what's so interesting about whales?

I rolled my eyes as I looked down at my phone, scrolling through whatever songs I have.

I ended up getting bored of that and went to scroll through my gallery.

'This is really boring. I want break to end soon..' I thought to myself, looking at pictures from the past.

Ooh look. It's Roy and I when he was 7 and I was 6. He and I had sneaked out of that place when we were under the watch of our baby sitter, whom we despised a lot.

Because of reasons that will remain untold.

He was the one who dragged me out of there and we went to get cotton candy at the nearby store. Of course you can be sure that when we got back, we nearly got killed by her.

Don't give me that look, of course I'm just exaggerating!

The next picture was of me, Karry and Roy. We were at the beach with our parents on a Sunday, just having fun and building sand castles.

And if you're wondering where Jackson is, let's just say he is too big a clean freak to get dirty with sand.

Look at my toothy smile and Karry's cheeky one. How cute we were.

I looked up and glanced at Karry. Obviously, he noticed my stare and looked up. And he shot me a smile; a smile that made me feel nostalgic.

I missed him. I missed Roy. I missed Jackson. I miss us.

I quickly looked back down at my phone and scrolled to the next picture.

At this, I wanted to cry.

I quickly stood up, and said with a quiet voice, "I'm going to the toilet. See you guys back at class!"

And without waiting for their response, I quickly left.

The third, but not the last, picture was of me and Jackson.

My first love.
