Lauren's pov

I wake up at 6am, I go eat my breakfast and talk to my family, i then go shower, brush my teeth, wash my face and get changed. I put on jeans and a black over sized hoodie, I pack my bag and go downstairs waiting for mani to come pick me up.

When she did she drives to ally's house and then we go to school.

At school we go to our lockers that are close together and then see what lessons we have today, we talked for a while until the bell rang and we go to our classes.

I was now in English and the teacher was talking about a project, I was hoping I didn't get partnered with someone who would make me uncomfortable.

"Camila Cabello you are with Lauren Jauregui, please go sit next to her" the teacher said, I look and see the girl from the mall, she looks and smiles and I smile back.

"Hi" she said once she sat next to me

"Hallo" I say, she smiles wider

"I'm sorry about my friend the other day" she said, i shrug

"It's okay" I say and grab the book putting it away

"So uh, do you want to work at my house or yours?" Camila asked

"Mine" I say, she nods

"You can come over at 5 today and we will work together" I say, she nods

"I need your address" Camila said, I write it down along with my number

"My phone number is there too just in case you need to change the plan" I say, she smiles nodding

"Okay" Camila said, we carry on with the lesson

Soon mani was driving me and ally home, as we were in the car we talked about our days.

"I also got partnered with the girl at the mall for an English project" I say, they look confused

"What girl at the mall?" Mani asked

"The cute one who was with her friend asking if I thought she was pretty" I say, they smile

"Oh, okay, the cute one hey?" Ally said, I nod

"She is cute" I say, they nod

"Alright" they say at the same time

"She's coming over at 5 today to do the work" I say

When I got home I talk to my family about my day, I then go to my room and read for a bit until the door knocked and my name was called, I put my book down and go downstairs.

"Someone is here for you" mom said, I nod and go to the door.

"Hallo Camila, come in we will work in my room" I say, she nods coming in and follows me

"Are you not going to introduce us?" Taylor asked

"Oh, this is Camila we are partners, this is my sister Taylor, my brother Chris and my mom and dad, Clara and Mike" I say, they say hello.

"We are partners for an English project" Camila giggles at my family's confused shocked faces

"Oh, that makes more sense" dad said, I then walk upstairs and camila quickly follows me saying it was nice to meet my family.

"Your room is cute" she said

"Thank you, please take your shoes off and place them on the shoe rack" I say, she did and sits on my bed getting her things out.

"So, have you read any of the book?" Camila asked, I nod

"I finished it at lunch" I say, she goes wide eyed and I sit next to her

"All of it? It's a big book" Camila said

"Yes, I had a free lesson and then lunch so I spent it reading" I say, she nods

"So you enjoy reading" Camila said, I nod

"Yes, I read all the time" I say, camila nods

"What's your favourite book?" Camila asked

"To kill a mockingbird" I say, she smiles

"I like that one too" she said, I nod and look at the book in her hands

"Are you going to read or should I tell you what happens?" I ask, she looks at the book then me

"How about you tell me, we can get the project finished quicker then" Camila said, I nod and tell her and we start the project.

"So Lauren, what do you like to do for fun?" Camila asked

"Read, draw sometimes I paint" I say, she nods

"That's cool" she said, I nod and continue working

As we were working Camila came close to me and I frown as I could smell her perfume and it was distracting.

"I can smell your perfume" I say, she looks

"Oh, okay" she said confused

"Could you move away?" I ask, she frowns

"Do you not like it?" She asked moving away

"No, it's nice it's just distracting because it's nice" I say, she blush

"That's a weird compliment" Camila said, I frown confused

"It wasn't a compliment, it was a statement" I say, she giggles

"Okay, I'm taking it as a compliment though" she said, i shrug and carry on

Soon my bedroom door opens and my mom comes in

"Hi girls, is Camila staying for dinner?" Mom asked

"No, I actually need to be heading home" Camila said, I pack the project up

"I'll see you tomorrow Lauren" camila said

"Okay" I say

"Bye" she said

"Bye" I say, she leaves and I put the project away

"Dinner will be done soon" Mom said, I nod and she leaves closing the door, I get on my bed and see Camilas jacket.

"Forgetful" I mumble shaking my head, I grab it and hang it up, I grab my phone and find Camilas number.

Lauren:
You're forgetful

Camila:
How?

Lauren:
You left your jacket

Camila:
Oh, I knew I forgot something, could you bring it in tomorrow for me?

Lauren:
Okay

Camila:
Thank you

I put my phone away and go downstairs to wait for my dinner
