"Hadoden!" The Aura Sphere created a ginormous dust cloud and from that emerged Zeraora Oracle an 11-year-old Pokemon living Field City, which has a majorly populated by Pokemon in the field and human-like egg group. Zeraora's glassess(seen on the front cover) flew off and crashed onto the ground. Airborne was Zeraora's brother, Riley, a lucario.
Riley: You know, if you didn't always wear a hero costume, those wouldn't always fall of!
Zeraora: Grr
Riley: Suit yourself! brace yourself for my quick attack!
The young Lucario started to glow white before leaping toward his brother, the ground beneath uprooting as he did. He was so confident he forget his brothers main weapon against him, Zeraora's speed. Before Riley knew, he flew through teleport marks and into the ground. Zeraora, after getting his bearing back after his second agility, he insatntly went in for the slash. As his extended claws were about to scrape his brother but then he felt a cold, dry bone hit his abdomen
Riley: How many times will you fall for this bro?
Zeraora whent flying and was hit in mid air by and aura sphere, the battle was over.
Zeraora: C'mon, you always beat me! Its either senseing my movements with *aura* or spamming your super effective move!
Riley: Maybe when you stop relying on speed then you'll
*buzz buzz buzz buzz*
Zeraora: Come on we gotta get to Mother's Mayoral ignaurational battle
Riley: Yeah, in a min
Zeraora: We have to go NOW!- Zeraora was starting to spark up, showing his clear agitation by his brother procrastination.
Riley: Ok ok, geez man. In battle your all gruff and serious and brooding, but outside your cheerful and basically a teachers pet.
Zeraora: Well in battle you keep spewing out quips but outside of battle, you act like an angsty middle-stage. Like gladion from the Pokemon Ultra adventures tv show.
It was true, both had two-faced personalities, mostly spawning from how their mother raised. Zeraora was always more well behaved and so had no reason to change. This always caused Riley to act out. However they both knew that Riley was the favourite, because he was a Lucario. Their mother was battle obssesed. She was so strong that transforming out of Mega Lucario state would leave her bed-stricken for several days. Because of this, Riley was always her focus and so he became overconfident in battle, while Zeraora kept a seroius demeanor, so he could focus his powers and get his mother's recognition.
They boys soon arrived at the biggest stadium in field city, Indigo Plateau, known as the oldest stadium in the world. In their city it was accustom that the mayor must be wise, knowledgable and the strongst in the city. Lucina, their mother, had already passed the theory test required and now she was gonna pass the practical too, on live tv. The boys were greeted by bodyguards and escorted to the vvip seating area. They looked onto the field. It was made of ground and dust, showing it age. They were looking at all the pokemon when the PA boomed her voice
PA: WELCOME TO THE FIRST MAYORAL IGNAURATION BATTLE THIS CENTRURY. KEROMATSU, OUR TIMELESS LEADER HAS STEPPED DOWN. HE HAS ONE FINAL DUTY THOUGH... TO GIVE EVERYONE A PULSATING BATTLE! PLEASE CAN OUR TWO CONTESTANTS ENTIRE THE FIELD OF BATTLE!
PARTICIPANT POV
Lucina(head): I'm finally here, Ash! I-I wish you were still here with me to watch. I hope you can feel my aura from the spirit world.
Keromatsu(head): To think this is my final battle in charge. I hope that son of Lucina's is watching, Ash said his pokemon archetype was like mine, so i hope he's taking motes
