Pikachu is an electric type Pokémon and if you cuddle it too hard, it will electrocute you. Pikachu was Ash's partner but, at first, Ash wanted a Squirtle. Pikachu evolves from Pichu and then it evolves into Raichu. A male Pikachu will have a straight edge at the end of his spiky tail but a female will have a heart shaped edge at the end of her spiky tail.
