"Mama, papa! Where are you?" I shouted

I was about 5 or 6

"Mama? Papa..?" I whimpered hiding my hands in my pocket

"I swear I didn't mean to burn her!" I said crawling to a chair

I hoisted myself up feeling a heavy drip down my leg

"I didn't mean- I really- Mama..- Pap-"

Now

I got up, I was tired from the nightmare that had occurred last night

It was hard, I lived with my siblings and my cat, we lived in the mountains away from the town about 20 minutes away

I got up and got dressed into a simply outfit, it was quite hard due to my gift

The gift I call angel, I had wings and could control energy, I could turn it into solid things if I wanted to

I obviously used it a lot especially on the food I grew, since I wouldn't want anyone from the village down there knowing I am a 'super being' like no other

Or maybe it was normal? My sister hadn't been given a gift, she was 14

I brushed my teeth and went outside into the slight coldness

I walked up to the crops and watered them

I saw a rain cloud form above the town

"I wonder why that happens"

I walked back into the house waiting for my sister to wake up

Normally we would go hiking in the mountains or take a walk on the other side if no one was over there

No one knew we lived here so we couldn't go to the town especially because of my abnormal wings and gift

It was easy to hide the energy power but wings were very very very uncomfortable to hide

"Y/n.." my sister said

"Oh your awake good morning" I smiled opening the window

"Can we..." she said hesitantly, she rubbed her brown eyes, she had curly brown hair and looked like my grandmother

"Can we..what?"I said laughing tucking my h/c hair behind my ear as I went to the kitchen to make breakfast

"Can we go to that town? I want to meet people" she said avoiding eye contact

I dropped the plate.

My mind froze.. I mean how would they react if they saw me?

"Um er I'll think about it, it's only because I'm different.. they might do something to me like Papa did" I said smiling sweetly

"Yay thank you!" She said jumping up and down like an excited puppy

I smiled to myself and carried on with breakfast

"desayuno de la hermana" (sister, breakfast) I said as she ran to collect her plate of eggs and toast

I had a small farm of 3 pigs, 5 chickens and 3 cows and then a crops farm I got everything I needed from there

"Now that you thought about it can we go? To the town?" She said scoffing down her breakfast

"Um.." truth be told I didn't think about it at all during the 10 minutes it took

"I.. erm well.. yeah okay we can go" I sighed giving in

We will have to go one day

"La ciudad here we come!" (The town here we come) she shouted running upstairs to get dressed
