Legacy stood in the middle of the living room, her confusion growing as she watched her mother frantically packing boxes. The man her mother had been seeing for the past few weeks had made a deal involving both her and Legacy to move to Houston.

Despite knowing nothing about moving, Legacy found herself thrust into a situation she couldn't comprehend. As she questioned her mother's actions, she was met with a dismissive response, leaving her with more questions than answers.

Legacy made her way up the stairs to her room, her footsteps echoing in the quiet house. As she entered her room, the sight of her belongings already packed in boxes greeted her. Her favorite books, her cherished photos, and the little trinkets that held sentimental value - all neatly tucked away, ready to be transported to an unknown destination.

The realization that her personal space was being invaded without her consent or knowledge sparked a fire of frustration within her.
She couldn't comprehend why her mother and the man she had been seeing would make such a life-altering decision without consulting her first.

The lack of communication and transparency left Legacy feeling isolated and disregarded. The uncertainty of what the future held in this new city of Houston only added to her mounting anxiety.
As she stood in her room, surrounded by half-empty shelves and bare walls, Legacy couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. The familiarity of her room, once a sanctuary and a reflection of her identity, now felt foreign and cold.

The abruptness of the situation and the sudden changes happening around her left her feeling overwhelmed and powerless.
With a mix of anger, confusion, and sadness swirling inside her, Legacy struggled to make sense of the whirlwind of emotions that threatened to consume her.

Legacy heard her mother's voice rising from downstairs, filled with tension and frustration. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at the familiar sound. It was a stark reminder of the constant discord that had become an all too common presence in their home. As the verbal exchange continued, Legacy's frustration grew, adding to the overwhelming emotions already swirling within her. The desire for peace and stability in her life became even more pronounced as the discord echoed through the house.

Legacy put her book bag on floor, "Bird brain. You don't even know him and now all of a sudden we moving to another state to stay with him?" Her voice trembled.

Legacy deeply sighed and quickly stopped herself from crying, she was taught at a young age not to show her emotions because it would make you seem weak... I guess you can sort of tell what type of childhood she had. As Legacy tried calming down her heart started racing and her eyes widened, She slightly began to panic now trying to find her journal.
