     "W-what?! We're moving?! To America?!" Marla exclaimed. "That's right, Butterfly!" Her father answered as he taped up a box full of silverware.

"I know you like it here, but it's for your mothers sake." He got on Marla's level as he spoke. "She recently retired from the military, and now she's living with her parents and she asked us to live with her!" He said with a happy tone.

"Won't it be great to see your mother again?"

Marla started to cry a little. "B-b-but daddyyyy! All my friends are here, and so are granny and grandpa! I don't wanna leave them!" She perked up. "Hey! Can we take them with us?"

Her father chuckled. "No, Butterfly. It doesn't work that way. But you can still give them calls!" He put his hand on her head, and ruffled her curly locks.

Marla teared up again. "This is stupid!" She fluttered her wings. "YOU'RE stupid!" She shoved his hand off, and ran to her room.
