Introduction

"BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP"

S--"Oh you stupid alarm clock" I groaned and rolled over and slammed my hand against the alarm clock, I hate getting up so early.

Well, I should probably introduce myself, my name is Skyler Green, I am 20 years old, I have long black curly hair, I weigh 355 pounds, and I am 5'5. I live in New York City. I didn't always live here, it was me, mom, dad, and my brother lived in Ohio. That was until my brother left for the Army after he graduated from high school, then I dealt with my parents never being home with me, and if they were they wouldn't talk to me, and if they did, they weren't the nicest to me.

Deep down I knew they only tolerated me because of my brother, me and my brother are very close, and they loved my brother not me. In high school I got two jobs, my first job was at a bakery, I was the waitress, and my second would be at the library, stock shelves. Once I made enough and was able to get a credit card, I moved all the way to New York city after I graduated from high school.

Now back to that annoying alarm clock, I knocked it off when it decided to make a sound once again,

S--"Ugh fine you freaking thing, I am up" once I was sitting on the side of the bed about to attempt to actually get out of the bed, I heard my phone go off, I sigh and looked down at it, I picked it up as soon as I seen who it was,

S--"Hello"

Boss--"Skyler you are supposed to be here already"

S--"I'm already on my way, I got stuck in traffic" I quickly went to my dresser to grab my work clothes and slipped my pants on while still listening to my boss,

Boss--"Let's be real darling you were fighting the alarm clock" I chuckled and said

S--"I am sorry Boss, I will be right there" with that we quickly said goodbye and I threw on my shirt, I then went to the bathroom and did all of what I had to do, and now I am on my way. On the way there I realized that I didn't have the time to ask her about getting me some bigger size work shirts, it's just when I move to quickly or something crazy my buttons want to pop open, it because I gained more weight, which I don't know what to do about that either, I diet and exercise, but I just gain it not lose it.

I pulled up outside of the door, I handed my keys to him and walked off into the building stripping my coat before I even get to the locker room, Kara was sitting by my locker, she said,

K--"You didn't speed, did you?"

S--"No Miss Kara, umm before I start working, I have a question for you" she nodded,

K--"Go ahead"

S--"I need a couple new work shirts"

K--"I thought I already ordered you a new one a few weeks ago?" I was embarrassed so I came up with a,

S--"I accidentally threw it in the dryer after I washed it, and it shrunk a little."

K--"Yeah I can, what size" I blushed again and say,

S--"One 3xl and one 4xl, thank you, I am now going to go out and help my fellow employees" she chuckled at my fake accent I said my statement in.

I walked out of the dressing room and seen that we had a full house, I also noticed that they were all in black suits, well except the women, the women were either wearing dresses, or a pencil skirt with a nice top. I walked over to the gay guy I work with that us hilarious,

S--"Hey Asher how are you"

A--"Wonderful darling, were you late again?" He said without looking at me, I sighed and said,

S--"Yes another fight with the alarm clock" I finished when there was yelling, then a guy's got up and stormed away, it's funny he kind of looked like my brother in a way, shrugging it off I asked him,

S--"What's got you so mesmerized?"

A--"All these men honey, look at all of them, it's like a sexy candy store up in here" I laughed and all of the sudden I felt eyes on me, I looked around and didn't see anybody looking at me, huh weird.

S--"Well I am going to go do my tables, are you sure you are going to be okay?" He nodded while messing with the collar of his shirt,

S--"Bye horn dog" I heard him laughing behind me as I walked, I noticed that I didn't have my notepad, so I had to walk to the standby the door and ask Ashker for one,

A--"Yeah here, this is the one that you lost last time" I laughed and turned around and started to walk while flipping my notebook back over, I then felt like somebody was watching me again so I looked up but then seen everybody talking to somebody, or the one guy that looks like a model and the boss was looking at his phone.

S--"Hi, everyone I am going to be your server today, what can I get you" they all gave me their order then the girl spoke up talked to the boss looking dude

G--"Alec it's your turn to order" he them raised his head from his phone, placing the phone on the table, and then leaned back to finally look at me. When I said he looked at me, I mean head to toe look at me, I blushed and the looked down and said,

S--"What can I get for you sir?" I heard him clear his throat,

A--"I am fine Hermosa" I could tell that most of them were Spanish but damn his accent, I am not sure what he said and I couldn't tell if it was bad or good because they all looked shocked, I cleared my throat and asked, (translation- beautiful)

S--"Are you sure? Not even anything to drink sir?"

A--"Umm yes actually, a bourbon"

S--"Ice?" He shook his head no, I nodded then said,

S--"I will be right back out with your drinks" I smiled at them and looked back to see if he was still looking at me and sure enough, he was.
