Narrator's pov :

You just finished putting on your outfit and did your (h/t) hair when you remembered you have to pick up Brett . You grabbed your car keys off of the nightstand and hopped into your (f/c) car . A couple moments later you were at Brett's house , you texted him that you were right outside . He came out in casual wear and got inside the car .

Brett's pov :

I got inside of (Y/n's ) car and saw them wearing a (f/c ) suit and black dress shoes. ' Hey, where are we going ?' " It's a surprise ! " ' Also am I even dressed right ?' " Yeah , you're dressed great for where we're going!" they said trying to reassure me " Now hurry up and put your seatbelt on ." Later on ... we arrived at a cat cafe . "See, I told you you're dressed great . " we went inside to see that the entire store was decked out with cat decor and pastels . " Ooo there's the order station ! I'm gonna go get a coffee ."

' Um...' "What is it ? Do you want a coffee too?" 'I-yeah actually .' I glanced at (Y/n) as they were walking towards the order counter . I then checked my phone to see a message saying "Like what you see? Also what kind of coffee do you want ?" I blushed at the text and replied with ' Caramel frappucino .' I then felt something soft brush against my leg . It was a chubby white cat , I scooped it up and began to pet it .

(Y/n's) pov : 'Wow, you sure do like cats .' I muttered while putting the coffee tray onto the table near Brett " Huh? yeah i'm usually a dog person but this cat's pretty cute! " I got an idea.... ' I'm so sorry , i'll be right back !' " It's fine !" No it's not ! It's absolutely not fine ! but I gotta get him that cat! I said while speed walking towards the counter .

Cashier : Yes , Sir .That'll be $ 303.50!
