my parents found out, they weren't too happy. not that they ever are.
i received a beating, a deadly one. im surprised i even survived
i forced myself to make it to the window, you were there already
tears in your eyes, our conditions were the same
broken, inside and out
you mouthed something to me, i could finally read lips,
"pack some basic things, we are leaving"
