NeXXXt Chapter Time!

The funny part about Ainz's travel after he left Leinas and Sera was it didn't truly change at all. While they had gone through mountains to cross into the Dragon Kingdom, which he hadn't traversed on his Royal Progress, Ainz didn't change anything truly.

He said goodbye to Leinas and Sera, only to teleport into their carriage and spend nearly the entire day and night with them anyway. He'd always planned on coming to them at night, but he didn't see why he couldn't during the day.

The only time he hadn't was when they were in Wyvern Rider Tribes lands because he hoped to run into one of them. It would be nice to gauge their strength, but he never came across one in the time they were in their territory.

He'd gotten the message from Captain Kugutsu that all was going to according to plan for Ainz as he crossed into the Dragon Kingdom. It seemed the Cardinals bought the captain's plan and the man had managed to deliver the letter he asked him to.

Ainz was starting to get a bit excited that everything was happening so quickly. He'd planned on drawing out a plan much smaller than this over the course of a decade or so. Even he couldn't have predicted he'd be this far along in plans he never originally wanted to execute.

He also knew Renner was nearly ready for the end of their... endeavor. Ainz wasn't sure which he was more excited for, meeting a Dragon Queen or Renner's Transformation. One thing was certain, no matter the outcome, he'd enjoy himself immensely.

He was a bit surprised at how uneventful his ride through the Dragon Kingdom was. He didn't come across a single town or village from the time he crossed over into the Dragon Kingdom until he could see the capital, Untryr.

That was an absolutely horrible layout to a kingdom having unimpeded access straight to the capital of your kingdom. Ainz knew it was impossible to block every route, but straight south from a neighboring kingdom seemed a bit too reckless.

He wouldn't have been able to miss the capital from ten miles away as a blind man. The sight of all those shining gold sets of armor was like a beacon on the darkest of days. He certainly didn't need the messenger to return and inform him the Generals were awaiting him.

Ainz was a bit surprised the soldiers he passed all slammed their spears on the ground and called out to him in recognition. The only reason he could think for the genuine display was all his days' training for his soldiers to see. It wasn't long before his carriage stopped and Generals Carvain, Marcus, and Lucius.

"Your majesty, it is wonderful to see y-"

"Get in." Ainz swung the door open, so he'd not be briefed through the window. "All three of you." Ainz had to add that in as he only saw General Carvain move to enter, and the carriage took off when all three were seated across from him.

"Welcome to the Dragon Kingdom capital of Untryr, your majesty." All three bowed their heads at Carvain's words and he waved for them to continue. "We have been asked to secure the area around the capital by Queen Draudillon, your majesty. I offered to have our soldiers lift one of the sieges for her majesty, but she refus-"
