A/N
Here's one of my favorite parts, the end of someone who deserved to die so much sooner. This is a fluffy fic, with a small side of like the littlest angst. We like everyone alive and happy here.

I have the next like 20 chapters written since I got in a grove with this story so I'll be posting more for y'all to enjoy. Sorry if I missed italics when Kotatsu and Lyra speak, I went back and edited the parts in other chapter to use italics. That indicates she's communicating with other animals opposed to humans.

Thanks for reading! Hope y'all like this one ;)

Lyra got Kotatsu to help her spy, especially at night when Teach was always on watch. The lynx didn't like the man either, never did but put up with him for the sake of her crew.

When she wasn't healing Whitebeard or napping, she was trailing the man so sneaky that no one ever spotted her.

Lyra went through his room finally getting her proof. But Ace was gone on a mission, with his division that included Teach. So she went to the next closest person to her.

Marco.

Ringing her little bell, she waited for him to open his door. It was late, but he was always up at the hour. True to it, the door was opened just enough for her to slip in and close behind her.

A small pillow now sat on his desk, where she usually sits. She spent so much time with him, it was usually how her nights started.

Foregoing the pillow, she sat directly on his current paper. Intense green eyes stared up at him, making him pause in berating her. Marco laid his pen down and crossed his arms with a frown.

"What is it, yoi?"

"This is about Marshall D. Teach."

Eyebrows rose at her declaration before his frown depended. "What about him yoi?" Ah he was skeptical, this could get ugly and fast.

Lyra needed to be cautious and careful, Marco is loyal and very protective of his family too. To him Teach is a brother who has been sailing with them for years, he trusts him.

"Marshall D. Teach is not who he says he is. He doesn't love this crew." She paused as somehow his frown depended again, brows pinched tight. "He is a traitor."

"How do you know yoi?" Lyra flinched at his cold tone, he was angry. At her. "He's my brother, he wouldn't just betray us. That wouldn't happen, yoi."

"You can check his room, he-"

"You snooped in his room, yoi?"

Ears flattened on her head, backing away from the angry man slightly. "Well how else was I supposed to find proof?" Lyra knew she was losing this battle, he was not believing her. Backing away quickly, she gave a low meow, "Fine don't believe me. Not everyone treasures the bonds of family as we do."

With that she disappeared back into the night, off to a secluded corner to pout. What could she have done differently to have him believe her? Maybe she should tell Whitebeard? But what if he doesn't believe her? What if they kick her off the ship?

Lyra placed her head on her paws and sighed, this was all such a mess now.

The next day, everyone could sense the tension between Lyra and Marco. Instead of sitting next to him, she opted for staying far away by eating with Kotatsu and Stephen.

When she walked right past him without a glance, many brows rose. Heads looked between the two as neither acknowledged the other. They were fighting, but no one knew why though.

Man he is mad

Lyra scowled down at Kotatsu from her place up on the railing. Tell me something I don't know. All I did was warn him about Teach. He's the one who wouldn't be open minded about it.
