It's been a week since Alex died mom found a new nanny her names Mara..she's..ok ig alex is better tho..
"Adora" dad said as he came into my room
"Yes dad?" I said clearly being annoyed that he barged into my room
"Me and ur mother need to get to work we're almost finished with the first season! It's gonna be amazing!" He said
"That's great dad"
"Me and mom will be home earlier today love u" he said then he closed my door
I tried to fall asleep but I couldn't so I decided to go downstairs maybe get something to eat then go back to my room
"Oh! Hi ur adora right? I'm mara ur nanny!"
"Yea Ik nice to meet u" I said then I walked over to the kitchen and took out and apple from the fridge I didn't even want an apple it was just the first thing I saw
"Look..Ik ur upset ab Alex..I'm upset to..she was my sister Yk" she said
"She's ur sister?"
"Yeah I miss her"
"Me to.." I said then I sat down next to her

Adora and Mara talked for a long time they actually started to get along really well after they talked Mara did some chores around the house and adora sat down and watched kipo it was her new favorite show after she finished arcane
By the time adora finished the first season her parents were home
"We're back! But sadly we can't stay long we're going to New York!!" Esme said and adora jumped off the couch
"WHAT?"
"We need to glim a few shots in New York before the series is completed and our boss said we leave today" James said as Esme went upstairs to go pack
"When r u gonna be back?"
"Maybe in 3 weeks"
"Then how r u gonna go to my game?"
"We might not make it baby" Esme said as she came downstairs with suitcases "we're sorry"
"But u promised"
"Ik baby and I'm sorry I really am" Esme said as she kissed Adoras forehead
"Whatever..it's not like I need u there"
"Adora.."
"No..go have fun in New York" Adora said before walking upstairs and into her room her parents would always chose work over adora adora thought she was there first priority but ig she was wrong..
