so when i was younger (7-8 years old) i thought that having a pet was morally wrong
i saw it as enslaving animals just to please people, and when people went "nonono it loves us" id think that they were insane because they were just assuming how they felt since humans and other animals cant understand each other so i thought they were lying
and plus i thought that referring to animals and 'it' as if they were objects are really wack (even now i dont really refer to pets as 'it')
i remember being really disgusted at people having multiple pets as they were 'imprisoning more and more animals'
just animals imagine buying people and being called their owners
yeah
that was wack to me back then
we're technically animals as well so it be like we'd just be buying another species and domesticating them by taking them out of their natural habitat that we're constantly destroying
(which is why i am not a big fan of zoos and i really admire adopting animals from rescue shelters)
DW THIS WAS FROM WHEN I WAS A LITTLE KID so now ive learned (and am still learning) the bond between humans and their pets since i know that a lot of ppl love their companions and their companions love them a lot too
