the chapter starts with everyone confused and asking abir as to what is in there in the letter with kartik who was highly concerned about naira;
"abir what's in this letter?",asked mishti
"RESIGNATION LETTER",said abir completley stunned himself shocking others
"what?",gasped everyone at this newly found information because for them naira had worked really sincerely for the past 5 years without any complaints and she was indeed one of the best doctors
"what yeh kaise ho sakta hain di aapko kuch idea tha kya iske baarein mein",asked mishti
"mr. dixit you did not do the right thing",said naira making everyone confused
"who mr. dixit naira and what did he do?",asked kartik concerned ;
"wait di is the mr. dixit the one of the most successful businessmen in goa and mumbai?",asked abir to which naira nodded;
"he is actually the only person who could do this (to kartik) kartik i did not accept his offer he removed me from my job how could he kartik?",said naira
"naira pehle sit and then tell us the whole matter i am not understanding anything",said kartik
while naira started narrating the flashback to the day she went to the clinic (the day she returned to mumbai);

it was 3 in the afternoon and naira was checking up reports of her patients when she gets a call from her senior doctor Dr. Joshi . she picked up the call and was asked to come to his cabin where she was introduced to Mr. Dev Dixit , the business tycoon !
