"Hey y/n let's go out to the koi pond. I don't really wanna be here right now"

I read from the note as I looked back up to where miles were sitting and he was gone. Today was his 7th birthday

We were eating cake but I guess miles got bored of that so he were doing what he did best. Going to the koi pond

I excused myself and mr.Quint said it were ok so I got out of my seat and ran outside to the koi pond

I seen miles sitting down looking at all of the orange fishes with white stripes and gray fishes swim around

I sat down by him making sure to cross my legs so miles wouldn't see my princess parts as my mom would call it

He looked up at me and did his signature smirk I found it pretty adorable and cute. I haven't told anyone I had a crush on him

We stayed quite and then I looked around and found Brittany. She had a big crush on miles and the whole 2nd grade knows

She's so annoying she once put mulch down my shirt. She's always hated me but I didn't care. As long as I had miles

She started to walk up to me and I gave her a death stare but she just giggled and kept walking over to her

"Hi milo bear!"

She said in her stupid high pitch voice

"Oh Brittany"

He says and I smile at how I know miles doesn't want her and she continues to look at miles acting like I'm not even here

"So my party is in about 2 months. Wanna come?"

She asks and he smiled and looks over at me

"That sounds fun y/-

"No she can't come. She has the mulch touch milo bear"

She says and crosses her arms like a big baby and I just rolled my eyes looking over at miles and he rolled his eyes too

"If she can't come then I'm not coming"

He said and Brittany started to sob. And then she started to cry. Very loudly and mr.Quint came running out

"Miles Fairchild what is going on"

He said

"she threw sticks at me and y/n"

"He's lying"

Brittany said still sobbing and Miles looked at mr.Quint with a serious face and mr.Quint sighed

"Carole your daughter is causing trouble again you two have to go!"

He shouted back while going back up to the house and I smiled and slowly waved to Brittany

"Bye bye Brittany. Have a great party"

I said while making a fake sad frown face and her mother came over and picked her up placing her on her hip

"I'm sorry birthday boy have a great birthday. And hello y/n"

Her mom said as I waved and they started walking away from the party scene and me and miles continued. We partied and did whatever

When everyone was gone we had our own movie night and it were very fun

I love you miles. Please don't leave me and always take care of me.

"What's that darling?

"It's just my old diary. You remember Brittany frano?"

I asked and he stared off into space and then nodded his head

I said giving him a warm smile
