A/N: Hello!! Sorry i didnt post in a while,, some stuff came up :((( i got covid, my lungs failed, i got hit by 9 cars on a high way, my cat died, my dog got lost, i got kidney stones, my bf cheated on me, my grandpa died, i got several different STDS, and my toe got amputated

Childe's POV:

Me and Hilichurl fled from Liyue, deciding it was not safe for our relationship there. I left everything behind, Northland Bank, all my acquaintances, Zhongli.... I can't get Zhongli out of my head. He's like a drug to me, if only Hilichurl and Zhongli could get along. But it'll never work out... I may have lied saying that I broke up with Zhongli, but that's for the best right? Right?! Me and Hilichurl eventually found a spot to rest at, and sat down. Hilichurl was being quiet, unusually quiet, so I asked.

"Is something bothering you?" They quickly looked over, like I shocked them.

"Oh.. um yeah, something is on my mind."

"Would you like to talk about it?"

"No.. I still need to think about it."

I hummed in response, wondering what was happening to my lover.

Hilichurl POV:

Flashback.

I was sneaking around Liyue, stealing stuff here and there for when me and Childe run away together. Gosh, this feels like Romeo and Juliet... but hopefully without the death. As I snatched a piece of bread, I got snatched up and pushed into an alley way! I opened my eyes and noticed.... Zhongli?! What does he want now??
