y/n pov:

the next day boruto came to visit me early in the morning

''I am going on a mission so I might not be able to come visit soon"

''a mission, lucky'' I cross my arms pouting ''what's your mission''

''ooh nothing big it's just we need to protect these two big celebrities'' he said with a small blush on his face so I am assuming one of them is a girl. I felt kind of jealous but shrugged it off

''really you're so lucky hopefully when I get discharged I get a good mission''

''When are you getting released''

''Sakura will be running some test today and hopefully, I will be released then'' I said with a smile on my face

''good than when we see each other again after my mission its time to see who is stronger''

''it's obviously me'' I roll my eyes

''what no?!''

''yeah'' I look at him giving him a smile, Boruto quickly turned around  this caused me to feel embarrassed ''are you okay'' I turn the other way trying to hide my red face

''yeah I just need to get going, I'll see you soon'' Boruto left the room and I covered my face

''stupid feelings'' I mutter

I hear the door open and Sakura came in my mother following behind her

''ready for some tests'' 

I nod and Sakura started doing some tests and I was finally allowed to leave. I was so happy to be leaving the hospital. Once we come outside I take a deep breath

''let's go'' My mom said as she walked past me

I wanted to ask where we're going but I just followed and we then arrived in an empty field

''what are we doing here'' I ask before I ask another question a bullet, made of blood, is sent towards me. I quickly dodge and look at my mother

''to train a bit. I know you just got released but starting today I'll be teaching you some techniques that l/n can do and help improve your combat skills''

a big smile appeared on my face and I got in a fighting stance ''I am ready''

''good'' my mother said and walked towards me ''first thing, try to hit me. My eyes will be closed the whole time''

with Mei, I fought her blindfolded but I have never fought someone else whose eyes were closed, but I think it'll be easy. I get ready to punch but my mother's words cut me off

''if you were to punch me right now, you'll miss''

my eyes widened ''you're looking'' I groan

''no'' she laughed ''I will even put something over my eyes''

I don't know where the blindfold came from but my mother took a blindfold and put it on her eyes

I then once again got in a fighting stance this time I won't punch I'll do a jutsu, a fire style jutsu

(I'll be honest I can't remember if I said you can do fire style but if I didn't let's pretend you can do it)

''fire style Flame Missile (this technique the user spews an intense stream of fire from his/her mouth )'' I whisper and fired my fire style towards my mother

''water style Water Armor (A thin layer of water covers the user’s whole body.)'' my mother did the signs and water came around her body dampening the fire style and then there was steam everywhere
