yoshi is notable for their rejection of modern idol culture. they refuse have their concept completely manufactured by a company, and speak up when they feel uncomfortable with something regarding their career. they don't believe in ❪ and dislike ❫ korean beauty standards, and choose to not conform to either male or female beauty standards. they simply present themselves the way they themselves want to look, ignoring others' judgments.

✧ ❪·˚寝る❫ ❜ 𝟬𝟬𝟮.
yoshi's arms are always littered with written words and lyrics! they like to carry around a pen to write down song ideas as soon they get one.

✧ ❪·˚寝る❫ ❜ 𝟬𝟬𝟯.
when playing bass, yoshi never uses a pick. they prefer to press down and pluck the notes with their fingers, which has caused them to develop calluses on the tip of their index and middle fingers.

though yoshi mostly sings in korean, they have a fair number of songs in japanese and in english!

yoshi dosent have their driver's license, and frankly they doubt they'll get one since they can barely even ride a bike ❪ and taking the subway is way more fun ❫.

one of yoshi's most notable stages is one where they covered of "are we still friends?" by tyler the creator. the entire performance really showcased yoshi's colourful singing style and expressive stage presence. near the end of the stage, yoshi screamed with their entire chest in their mic, similar to how tyler does in the original song. this clip went viral and got yoshi lots of attention due to their powerful voice.

yoshi loves soup and would do anything for a big bowl of pho on any given day!

✧ ❪·˚寝る❫ ❜ 𝟬𝟬𝟴.
yoshi came out as non-binary almost immediately after debuting. during an short music bank interview yoshi was misgendered and they quickly corrected the interviewer, landing them many confused and shocked faces.

yoshi got their lip pierced at the age of 17. when they asked their mom if they could get snakebites, she firmly refused, to which yoshi decided to get them done in secret. their mom was not particularly pleased when her child came home with their lip pierced, but after some time didn't mind as much.

during their high school years, yoshi was in a small just-for-fun band with a few friends called "winter on mars".

when they debuted, yoshi was asked by their company if there was anyone specific they wanted to play backup instruments during stage performances. yoshi called up their old friends from "winter on mars", who now often play with yoshi during stages. ❪ see relationships for more info on yoshi's friends. ❫

yoshi takes pictures of absolutely everything. they like preserving their memories in image format, the only problem being that all the pics in their camera roll having taken up 87% of their phones storage.
