Y/n's POV

"Y/n, it's time to wake the family." Mirabel whispered, but I didn't get up, then she whispered, "Don't you want to see Camilo?"

I got up immediately and started looking for clothes.

"I knew that would work." she said while giggling. We have been best friends since the moment I started living with the Madrigal's. We share everything with each other, even who we like. Mirabel likes no one in that way, but I do. I have a big crush on Camilo, her cousin. Since she knows that, she teases me about it and also uses it to her advantage.

I get dressed into a cute columbia traditional dress, the skirt is light blue, the shirt is white with her frilly collar the same as Mirabel's. The dress is has the same design as Mirabel's just a different colouring. That includes the shoes too, their colour is teal.

Once I finished getting ready, we both stand at the door. "Make your family proud." We said to each other then left the room.

As we slide down the stairs, as Casita flatten them to make smooth, Mirabel said, "Morning, Abuelo!", once we got to the bottom of the staircase, we walked to the kitchen as Casita opens the windows as we pass them. Once we got there, we see plates rolling towards us, I catch half and Mirabel catches the others, then I caught the 2 last ones that came late.

"Hey! When's the magic Gift happen?" One of the 3 kids outside yelled. It was the one with a strange coffee addiction.

"My cousin's ceremony is tonight." Mirabel responded calmly as we both are setting up the table for breakfast.

"What's his Gift?" Another one yelled.

"We're gonna find out!" I said back to them.

"What's your Gift?" The coffee addict yelled after taking a swig of coffee.

"Who's asking?" Mirabel said with a sly attitude, hands on her hips, as I place the last 2 plates down.

"US!" They all yell.

"Well, 'us', she can't just talk about herself. She's only part of the amazing Madrigals." I said while motioning to the Madrigal's family tree.

"Who's all the amazing Madrigals!?" The kids all yelled.

"Ah, you're not gonna leave us alone, are you?" Mirabel said.

"Casita, help me out." Then once she said that, she did this,

"Draws!" Points to them and they moved in and out.

"Floors!" Stands in the middle of the patterned tiling and did a fancy hand gesture, which made them flow up and down, outwards from around her.

"Doors!" Standing on the second story, lifting her hands up as the doors glowed brighter.

"Let's go!" I say while dragging her along.

This is our home

We've got every generation

We sang, as we knocked on the doors of the rest of Madrigals.

So full of music

A rhythm of its own design

Mirabel opened her sister's (Isabela) room.

This is my family

A perfect constellation

She gestures to Isabela, who woke up with the wind blowing through her hair. Like a princess.

So many stars
