Y/n's POV

Once Mirabel and I got back to Casita. Once we get there, we start sneaking around to get to Bruno's room.

"Such a perfect match." Alma said to Isabela as they both walking around Casita, talking about Isabela and Mariano.

"So perfect." Isabela responded with as flower petals come off her as they walk.

"And so good for the Encanto." As they continue talking, Mirabel and I sneak up to Bruno's room. Once we reach his door, I push it open, easily, even though it sounds like it was hard to open.

We see an archway shaped as an hourglass. We walk over to it and I stuck out my hand and it's sand that is falling down on the other side of it.

"Casita. Can you turn off the sand?" Mirabel asked. We heard tiles moving, we turn around to see what Casita is telling us.

"You can't help in here?" I ask. The tiles nodded. "We'll be fine. We need to do this."

"For you, for Abuela, maybe a little for me." Mirabel added. We both exhaled and got into focus mod. "Find the vision, save the-" Mirabel got cut off by the big drop, I moved so I land first and Mirabel fell on top of me. We slide down, I make sure to cover Mirabel so no sand gets in her eyes. Once we stopped at the bottom, we got up.

"Are you ok, Mirabel. Did any sand get in your eye." I start to check her, not worried about me.

"I'm ok, but are you ok, Y/n." She asked me with worry.

"Just peachy." I say while giving her the 'Ok' sign.

We then look forward to see a stone hand, pointing up with the words 'YOUR FUTURE AWAITS' engraved on it. We look up to see several stairs. Possibly over 5,000 stairs.

"Woah." We said, then a toucan land on the stone next to us.

"Oh, hello." I said to them. They cripped back in response.

"Lot of stairs, but at least we'll have another friend." Then the toucan flew off.

"No, they flew away immediately." I noted.

"Alright." Then we started to walk up the stairs as Mirabel sings.

"Welcome to the family Madrigal."

We get higher. Mirabel is still singing, but is starting to get out of breath.

"There's so many stairs.

In the casa Madrigal."

We got higher. I'm now carrying Mirabel on my back as I continue to push on.

"You think there would be

Another way to

Get so high

'Cause we're magic, but no"

Mirabel continued singing, is out of breath too.

"Magical how many stairs fit in here!" She yells. "Bruno, your room is the worst!"

Then we finally make it to the top. I'm panting, Mirabel is still feeling tired. Then we see this huge gap in between the stairs and our destination. We both groan in frustration.

"Come on..." Mirabel said. I put her down carefully, I grab a post of the fencing of the stair and a lot of rope too, I throw the post up, which got caught behind some streedy rocks. I test it to see if it'll be ok, which it is.
