"You're a ripper..." The words barely made out of Klaus' mouth. Natalie's heart sunk as his voice was uncertain. "You didn't die, Not because of your magic, You had vampire blood... My blood?"

"Unfortunately..." Natalie held her head low, She wasn't sure how long she was going to hide this from everyone.

"Natalie listen I-" Klaus began to explain himself, The witch shook her head and took a step back from him

"Don't, Don't even try" She warned him.

"I am just trying to apologise here Natalie, I know that wouldn't change things between us, But I need to"

"And I need you to stay the hell away from me, And you are right. You apologising isn't gonna change a thing between us. So do us both a favour and don't" She stood few feets away from and looked at him, His hard and firm features now turned soft and painted with confusion and anger at the same time

"Why? Elijah apologised, And by the looks of it, You forgave him. Why not give me that chance too?" He wondered out loud

"Because If I did, I will forgive you too, And I don't want to. I don't want to hear your stupid apologies, I don't want you to weasel your way back to me. I don't want to not be mad at you because I don't want to feel the way I used to feel about you goddamn it!" And the tears that was filling her eyes few minutes before found their way back. Natalie hated it, Looking weak and vulnerable, Especially in front of him. But Klaus didn't care. His heart almost broke seeing those blue eyes with tears, He couldn't help himself from going to her and wrapping his arm around her, Protecting her from anything that was about to come her way when in reality he was protecting her from himself.

"It's okay, I wouldn't apologise, I promise I won't" He promised, Shushing her silent sobs. She let herself calm down for a minute before pulling away from his embrace. "I know you have been a vampire for quite sometime now, But let me teach you. And I promise I will be a perfect gentleman about it" He smiled, He smiled at her like he just didn't see her rip a girl's neck apart, Like he just didn't hear her say she wanted him far away from her, But despite everything he smiled at her and held his hand out for her to take it. She obliged in spite of what she just told him. She needed someone to keep her from actually killing an innocent while feeding as she was a ripper.

"That would change nothing between us" She stated firmly, She wasn't gonna put herself through everything just because her heart is beating a little loud now that he is near her.

Niklaus could hear that slight increase in the heartbeat, he smiled a little again to himself remembering the exact same way it used to beat before

'Nat, I don't know how long I can hold myself back, Please I am begging you, Leave' Klaus cried out as he felt the first few bones of his break. Natalie and Klaus knew what was happening, His wolf gene were still getting a great hold of him than the other way round

'I can't, I don't have anywhere else to go' She kneeled down in front of him, Placing her hand over his face and gasped slightly, But she slowly caressed his cheek making him look at her. "I don't want to go anywhere else, Don't hold back, don't be afraid. I can handle myself, so... Let it go and break free, I will be waiting here for you when it's all over" She smiled at him even though her heart was beating abnormally fast and loud. But that didn't matter to Niklaus, She was there for him, That did.

"Consider this a payback, And you have helped me when I needed someone during my transition, And in every way this is all my fault... Let me just help you this time" Klaus pleaded with his bluish green eyes and a soft but firm hold of her hand, She once again found herself nodding herself in front of a mikaelson when she knew what happened last time she did.

---

Klaus scanned the place like he was searching for someone in particular as soon as he entered the bar, He sighed deeply before walking into the crowd, dragging Natalie gently along with him, He narrowed his eyes over a bartender "Excuse me love, My friend and I would like to have something stronger than this" He took away the tray she had in hand and placed it ove the counter with ease as the stranger looked at Klaus and Natalie suspiciously. "Don't scream or run. It's gonna sting just a little" He
compelled her looking into the stranger's brown eyes, He turned around to face Natalie who was fiddling with her fingers subtlety. "Trust me, please" He mumbled, Natalie shoot him a 'Are you serious' look "I know it is hard for you to do so, But please trust me" Natalie found it hard not to nod her head

He could see the hesitation filled in her blue eyes, He slowly stepped behind her Natalie wasn't sure of what was happening, She was far too intoxicated by her hunger and all she can hear in the middle of the loud and smoothing music was heartbeat of the room full of people. Niklaus placed his hands over her waist gently "Relax sweetheart, Just relax. I am right here" He whispered quietly in her ears, Those words would stir up more confusion and anger in her, But for some reasons, Natalie found herself doing so. His fingers brushed across her neck from behind, Leaving goosebumps in its wake, Slowly sliding her blonde hair to a side. Natalie gave a side look at him, He motioned her to do the same. She gently brushed the bartender's black hair to a side just as she felt a feather like touch down her neck, it stopped its movements right over her pulse. She did the same, She ran her finger over the girl's neck and stopped exactly in the perfect spot

"That's it sweetheart, You are doing so good" He whispered again and placed his lips over her neck, In the exact spot his fingers were minutes ago. Something inside Natalie just flipped, She couldn't hold herself back anymore, Her fangs and her dark veins grew out of her permission and she finally got what she was longing for, Cure for her hunger, A temporary one. The taste of the blood was taking her high, to the cloud nine and she doesn't want to come back down. Ever.

Niklaus couldn't stop the smile that was tugging on his lips as he was mesmerised by the scene that was right in front of him. Of all those years when they were together, He has never seen her like this, Like something in her just unhinged, She usually maintains her composure and keeps herself grounded, But at that particular moment she looked beautiful as ever with perfect mixture of the power and danger glinting in her blue orbs and Klaus found himself feel something after a long long time, That smile, He was genuinely smiling after what looked like eternity itself.

"Sweetheart" The voice was almost unrecognisable to her but she hummed quietly to him. "That would be enough for now love" He tore his eyes to look down at the the bartender she was feeding on. He could hear the heart beat of the human slow down and he knew she can hear it too, But she couldn't stop herself from getting more "Natalie" Her name sounded so stern in his voice now, He pulled the girl away slowly and bit his wrist in order to heal her, Natalie hissed at him at lose of her.

"Listen to me, You need to stop" Klaus said sternly, Her vampire face still intact but that didn't make him feel any different, He placed his hand over her cheek and made her actually look at him, His eyes boring into hers "Its over, Its over now. That's it, Now breathe" His voice brough calm in her, Slowly he felt her getting back to herself

"Thank you" She muttered in a very low voice, Barely being a whisper. He nodded, He stayed silent for a moment gathering his courage to ask the question while she wondered what to do next.

"Friends then...?" Niklaus questioned as she started walking away, A huge smile broke in her lips and she was thankful that he was facing her back

"I will think about it" Her words said, But the Hybrid sneaked a peek at that smile she was desperate to hide and he knew an definite answer for his question.
