Failed love has taught me how exiting gracefully can make you feel incredible. No one is worth investing extra effort once they've decided to go, and the kindest thing you can do to them and yourself is to actually "let go". And if you have to let go anyways why not do it gracefully? Let's call it "no ifs buts or asking clarifying questions rule". The second time someone decided to walk away from me, I was so prepared to say "If you have to go, go!", and it kept me somewhat sane.
