At this point I don't think I'm gonna be able to post consistently every Saturday :') I've realized creativity is not gonna always come everyday or every week or whatever, nor could you force it to come when you want it to. Cause if I do force it, I find it to not be one of my proudest works because of how ingenuine it feels. I've actually just heard from someone that art block is actually a good thing because after awhile when you stop drawing, you start to see things differently, cause you're not going to stay the same person everyday, and then you start improving in your ideas or maybe even in your skills, depending how long you have not been drawing
I think in a way, depends on how you interpret it, this drawing sorta expresses that

Brain fry. Burnt out. That sort of feeling I showed here. Not just in art or writing, but even in life too. We get burnt out or tired, even emotionally. But for the most part of what I'm trying to convey here, I get tired of worrying about my future, like whether I'll be able to graduate because of how behind I am in school. The clouds of smoke and the words indicate these thoughts that just cloud up my mind. "What are you going to do?" "You'll probably fail lol" Those are the doubts I get. "I'm pretty sure I could do it..." "We'll get there...right?" Optimism. I try to be hopeful that I will make it (sort of what the stars indicate). Then the cycle continues, and that's when I just waste my time thinking about it. Or "Wasting Away." Then the more I think about it, the more it just tires out my brain or "fries it" you can say
I don't often draw these kinds of pieces that involve symbolism and stuff, but even when I do I don't really explain it cause sometimes idk if these symbolisms make actual sense lol. So I just leave it to the person that sees it or just leave it as art lol. But yeah ig that's basically the story behind this piece

I also drew this lil demon creature that actually belongs to this artist called krampusclaws, and I love this character so much I decided to draw him in my own style but still kind of doing an homage to how she drew him in that liminal space setting, which you'll see what I mean here
