He looked at her with shock. Iduna, what was she doing here. His mind went blank. He lowered his head in attempt to hide his face but failed. Everyone took notice of the queen infront of them."I am so sorry guys i was late-" Bruce came in with a blue suit and green tie. "Oh, you must be the queen" he said and bowed down to her. She did the same and gave an angelic smile."And you must be Doctor Bruce Banner, am i right?" She asked leaving the hulk astonished.

"Yes, how'd you know?" He asked. "Thor told me a little about the team" she replied politely. "Gues who i am then?" Nat asked with excitement. "Umm . . . Natasha Romanoff ?" She said and pursed her lips. "Yes!" Nat said and brought her into a hug. "Its good to have agirl around" she said satisfied. The queen giggled. "And you guys must be Sam and Clint?" She asked pointing to Hawkeye and Falcon. They nodded happily. "And you are Captain America, right?" She asked the tall blonde. "Yep, it is I" he answered and shaked her hand. "And you are Tony Stark" she said looking at Tony.

Tony nodded and walked forward. "Yes i am that genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist you've heard of"
He said as he reached out for her hand. She immediately bowed down lifting her skirt a bit in courtesy. And he did as well awkwardly. Loki watched this all. "Oh brother why dont you meet her too-" Thor said making Iduna's face drop. Brother!? Wasnt he supposed to be in Asgard?! WTF!?

She thought as she was still trying to recover from the shock or shall I say she felt like she was electrocuted all of a sudden. "Surprise" loki said awkwardly and walking towards the group. "Surprised aren't you Iduna. I told you there was a surprise member, and he is Loki, the god of mischief himself is now an Avenger" Thor said as Iduna kept a blank face but forrowed her eybrows a little. "Long time no See, Iduna" he said gently shaking her hand. "Yes loki" she said blankly which made his heart hurt.

"You guys used to be bestfreinds. Why so nervous now, brother" thor said nudging his shoulder. "Yeah right" she said giving loki a small smile. "Iduna let's go to the livig room and talk more, you must be tired" Thor said and walked away with loki. Nat came beside Iduna and guided her to the living room.
They all sat around the couch and started asking questions to the queen. "Ok, i wanted to ask you why you gave up the entire kingdom to become an Avenger?" Nat asked first. "My 70 years of service as the queen is over. You know that the ruling policies of Sphinx is very different from ordinary monarchy. If a ruler has a sibling, for equal rule on the throne, our ancestors have set up a guidline that each sibling starting from the first born will only rule for seventy years or till the next one has become old enough for ruling" she answered as everyone listened attentively.

"Ok so are you queen or princess?" Tony asked. "Well I am called the Queen Mother by my people, so you could see me as that" she answered. Loki simply kept his head down. While questions were thrown at her she confidently answered them all. "Okay last question, What is your age?" Sam asked. Iduna smiled and answered "1046 years old" she said and everyone gasped. "W-wait 1046 years old!" Tony said shocked. "Sorry guys, i forgot to tell you, yeah"
"Wow that's old" clint said looking at her. "But you look so young" tony said. "Thankyou for the compliment Tony" she said casually.

"Nat why dont you show her, her room" Tony asked Nat. "Sure why not come on" she said and lifted up Iduna from the sofa. They were about to leave and Thor said, "Wait my brother's gonna come too" and nudged loki again. He couldnt refuse, so he had to except and go. Nat was beside Iduna and Loki was behind them. "You know how much i wanted to have another girl in the team. It gets boring with boys and you have nobody to relate to" she said. "Well its absolutely fine, ill be your bestie too" she said to Nat. The red head gleamed with hapiness. Loki didnt even want to look her in the eye. Wow the princess he had dated was now a powerful Queen Mother. They took turns around the halls. "I know its a pretty big tower for seven members only, hope you'll get used to it?" She asked Iduna.

"Dont worry about that, my castle is way bigger, ill get used to this." She said reassuring the red head. And finally they came to a stop. Big wooden doors with intricate patterns carved onto it. At the very centre it had a beautifully carved out sword. They open the door. The room inside was perfect for a queen to live. It looked absolutely stunning and beautiful. There was a huge window at the farther end with a beautiful city skyline. A queen sized bed with curtains of her favourite colour hanging on either side. Shelves of books on one side. A beautiful dark oak desk with a comfortable spinning chair and a bird's nest swing suspended from the ceiling. And a closet made of wood with the same intricate patterns. Loki himself looked at the room with awe. His room wasn't even half as gorgeous as this room was. Natasha was beaming with pride as she looked at Induna who was beyond surprised.

"Like the room?" She asked. "I love it. I-It's amazing" she said stutering her words. "I designed the room myself with a little help from thor. And i also heard you like nature alot so i designed it that way" she said. "Thankyou so much, Natasha" the queen said hugging her. Loki was quite all thus time. The members loved her so much. She hasn't changed a bit he thought. She was the same powerful Queen she was. "And one more thing, tommorow we'll go shopping, for your earth clothes. Tou dont want to be attracting the paparazzi, you know. They can be kinda annoying" she said and walked out of the room. Only Iduna and Loki were left.

"How are you, Iduna" he asked softly. "Doing great, Loki" she said softly too. "Sorry I didn't attend your coronation" he said with a sad expresion. "Its alright, Loki" she said gazing out the window. He excused himself and came out. He let out a huge sigh and started walking towards the living room.

"Brother, why are you acting so weird and nervous around, Iduna? Don't you remember she was our friend?" He asked.
Loki remembered the first time Iduna and he had met each other. It was the time when Loki and Thor had to go to a different kingdom for higher studies. They had to stay there for 7 years . . .

Flashback . . .

"Brother this place is beautiful! "

"Not bad, brother"

"Not bad? Brother its gorgeous"

"Welcome princes of Asgard. We wish you a great stay"

They hoped onto their respectful carriages, towards the great palace ahead of them for there stay. They were guided to their guest rooms and took rest, for they had to meet the princesses of Sphinx.

"How are you, princes?" The king asked.

"We are doint great, King Aether" thor said bowing down.

"Its a pleasure to meet you, your highness" loki said bowing down as well.

"Oh, arent you the god of Mischief, well as a matter of fact, i am a big fan of you and your tricks" he said smiling.

"I appreciate that, your highness" he answeres.

"Well why dont you meet my two daughters? " he says pointing to two young women.

"May i come in, father dear?" The elder one said sweetly holding the younger one by hand."Goodmorning father, I am very sorry for the delay" the younger one said who seemed to be coming from training grounds.

"It is completely fine, dear. But first meet, Thor Odinson, God of thunder and Loki Odinson, God of Mischief" he said pointing to wards the brothers.

"Very pleased to meet you princesses" he said and took the hand of the elder one and kissed the back of it and did the the same to the younger one too. Loki did the same, although Iduna blushed a little.

"Meet my fiersome and brave daughters, Iduna and Aliya" he said pride beaming in his eyes.

"Princes, why dont you go rest?" He said and both princes and they nodded and before leaving Loki took one last peak at the elder one and slightly blushed and walked away.

End of flashback . . .

"Brother, i have not seen her in 70 years, i am nervous. But ill get along dont worry" he said and left to bruce banner helping him in the medical room. The true reason was different. After their breakup, he didn't want to show his face to her anymore. Or was he afraid to be killed by King Aether or buried alive by Goddess Gaea? Maybe both. He also missed her coronation as a matter of fact.

He'll have to wait and see . . .
