"Mazuni Hakushi. You have been arrested for endangerment and child abuse you have the right to remain silent anything you say or do will be held against you"said an officer as he was lead out of the large Mansion. Hawks held (y/n) close to him having her wrapped in his jacket as his wings kept the cold wing from blowing on them. (Y/n) was confused as she looks up at hawks as she rested against his chest. Hawks smiled. "See that bad man over there?"he said gesturing her father. She turns a grips his shirt. "He's never gonna harm you again..."he said.
Turns Hawks assistant helped him saying if a child is suspected of abuse he could hold the child in his custody until proven.
What the police and detectives found out was that (y/n) lived in a dirty basement under the kitchen table. Rats, bugs and growing weeds and moss everywhere. The beanbag she slept on was infected severely and torn with moss growing in it. There was a cracked window which meant she was sleeping in the cold weather inside or the hot sun. She had no clean clothing as well as warm clothing either. She had no medical records either which means she was enrolled into school without any medical files in case of an emergency. Nor was any money given to her for lunch.
The school was going to be shut down and under investigation since the signs of obvious neglect were hard to ignore.
The small cow girls eyes widen in joy as she hugs hawks who smiled and rubs her head. Suddenly a male walks over and smiled. "Hello hawks I'm here for (y/n)"he smiled. Hawks laughed awkwardly. "I'm sorry who are you?"he said with a nervous and obviously annoyed chuckle. "Apologize I'm (y/n) uncle. Jishin Hakushi pleasure to meet you hawks"he said. Hawks stared his smiled was gone he gave him a suspicious look.
He knew who he was. Jishin was famous business men in charge of two famous companies.
"Did you know about (y/n)?" "No I didn't actually found out recently two hours ago and was told to come here. The drive was a long one but I managed to make it..."Jishin said as he fixed his tie and adjusted his glasses. He turns to (y/n) and smiled softly. "Hello there little one nice to meet you"he said as he reached to boop her nose. (Y/n) trembled and closed her eyes but before Jishin could do so hawks grabbed his wrist squeezing it some what. "Hey now ever heard of personal space "he said with a smile. "With all due respect I'm not giving (y/n) to some random adult that easily"he added lightly, shoving back his hand. Jishin chuckled and rubbed his wrist. "That's quiet a grip you have"he said, fixing his cuff. Hawks was silent. Jishin sighed. "Alright then I didn't want this to be a problem but since you obviously don't trust me then I'm afraid I'm going to have to bring my lawyer into this"Jishin sighed. Hawks was silent. "I don't think a child should hear this type of conversation whether she can understand us or not,"hawks said. He grabs an extra pair of custom headphones for her ears and puts them on. (Y/n) leans against hawks. "So call me,"he said before he flew into the air. (Y/n) whimpers as he flew. Hawks frowns as he looked at her. "What's wrong?"he said. (Y/n) hums and snuggled hawks for more warmth.
Hawks sighs and arrived at his penthouse. "I...wanna stay..."she said hugging hawks. Hawks smiles softly as he rubs her back. "I Want you to stay too baby calf..."he said in a gentle tone. (Y/n) stomach growls as she looked away embarrassed. Hawks chuckled as he goes to the kitchen. "I'll ask you something to eat okay?"he said. (Y/n) nods. Hawks walks to the kitchen as (y/n) followed. Hawks noticed and smiled as he turns. "You can watch Tv you know"he said. (Y/n) blinked as she looked away. Hawks hums as he flew up to his room he was given a book by a fan he was a child so he gave him a book. He flew back to she (y/n) trying to follow him. He lands in front of her as he picked her up and lead her to the couch. He sat her down and hands her a child book about quirks. "Here you go maybe you can practice your reading skills."he said. (Y/n) hums softly as she looks at the book.
She learns that quirks are special abilities a person posses. She saw many pictures people who can move stuff with their minds, fire quirks, water quirks, even hawks with his red wings. She finished her book but felt upset.
She didn't see her quirk.
Was she not special like everyone else? Hawks walked over to see (y/n) in tears as her lips quivers. "Hey what's the matter"he said sitting next to her. (Y/n) hands him the book. Hawks scanned through the book. It covered a lot of quirks. Some he didn't even know existed. He finished the book still a little oblivious of why she was sad. He glancd at he as she fiddled with her ears uncomfortably. Then is clicked. "It's just a stupid book you know, your quirk is just as special and cute"he said as he cups her face slightly smushing her face. (Y/n) whimpers. "Awe look at that cute face"he teased making (y/n) blush as she smiled shyly. Hawks chuckled as he picked her up and placed her on her high chair. He made her some chicken noodles with egg since he wanted her to start on a easy to eat level. From what he's gathered she ate plants most of the time so she wasn't used to food she was supposed to be eating. Noodles were soft and easy to eat so he figured it shouldn't be much of a change to her. He made sure to cool her egg down so the noodles weren't too hot.

(Y/n) enjoyed the new taste and meal she had. Her ears wiggled. Hawks eyes sparked at the cute sight he saw. He carefully fed her as he taught her how to use chopsticks.
Hawks admired her cute persona as he help her finished. Hawks picked her up and lead her to the bathroom as he helps her undress and wrapped her in a towel before starting her water. He bathed her thoroughly as he hums and gave her some pjs. He tucked her in and rubbed her forehead. "Night sweet girl"he said as he left the room.
Hawks settled it that he will be having custody of (y/n) and that her uncle and visit when she's comfortable and settled in. He was now also looking for a nanny.
While on call and interviewing his advisor walked over. "Sir you have an interesting demand"he said. Hawks sighed. "Yes?" "You know the actress lyna yangu?" "The 10 year old orphaned brat?"hawks said annoyed. "Yes why?" "Well apparently she's coming here-" "Good for her"he said "what's that got to do with me?" "She requested to stay at your place "he said. Hawks leaned against his fist and sighed annoyed. "If I refuse?" "That will have a negative perspective and people might blame (y/n)"he said. Hawks sucked his teeth. "Well shit guess I have no choice"he laughed annoyed. "I'll have a car sent to get her when she arrives."he said as he continued to answer calls.
(Y/n) was playing with her hawks plushi in the middle of the floor. She would have it walk two directions before she hugged it. Hawks adored it with his entire being. There was a buzz at the speaker. Hawks walked over and answered by pressing a button. "Hello?" "Miss yangu is here sir"said a voice. Hawks sighed and pinched his nose. "Okay bring her up"he said with a cheery tone. (Y/n) looks at hawks with confusion. Hawks walks over and rubbed her head. "We're having a roommate for a couple of days"he said honestly with a smile. (Y/n) nods confused as saw the elevator door open.
A girl with greyish white hair blue crystal eyes and owl like wings appeared in the elevator. She had a small smile on her face as she waved.
