Streams and Oceans, Tales and Life

I'll always be in awe of films.
All comes to well-planned endings.
Like a river flowing steadily along
   with the current.
Battling through twists and turns,
rocks and cliffs yet always ends
   up where blandness and saltiness
   meet.

Twists and turns in tales are
   mapped,
Ups and downs in life happen in a
   snap.
Most significantly, we are oblivious
of what our end would be.
Unlike the stream that's rolling
   stealthily towards the sea.

That's when I have discerned the
   line that separates fiction and
   reality.
Life, analogous to the bounds
   which separate the creek and
   oceans almost indistinguishably:
Knows not if the water from the
curling waves of the sea went to
the side of the river or went back
to the side of the ocean because
   of the collision.
Nor does it foretell if the freshwater
   from the steady river ricocheted
back to its side due to the impact
or it fused with saltwater in the
   ocean-life's incomprehensible
   and mostly brings forth
   confusion.
