Brainless

I walk into the room,

I see a bunch of people I knew,

Suddenly you come grab my hand,

And we end up sitting together unplanned.

I knew you since I was twelve,

But we barely talked itself,

Now suddenly you want me,

I agreed with glee.

You seemed really good and nice,

Oh god but I had to pay a hefty price.

I fell for your character,

And ditched so many other.

I fell for a gem,

Leaving behind the diamond...ahh the condemn.

I still feel the pain today.

Hurts like it happened just yesterday.

Why am I so careless,

Or maybe I'm just brainless.
