"Okay guys, both of you ready?" Derek smiled
"Mommy go to PT!" Grace smiled and carefully grabbed Meredith's hand
Meredith's leg was healed, but her shoulder kept bothering her so she kept going to her PT appointments
"Okay Gracie, I'll see you in a few hours" Meredith kissed her daughter goodbye
"Bye mommy, love you" She giggled as she ran into daycare
"I got it from here, thank you Derek" She smiled softly
"I can come if you want?" He suggested
"Sure" She giggled and let him led her upstairs
"I was thinking we could maybe go to the zoo tomorrow" Derek suggested "Grace has been asking us all week"
"Oh Derek, I can take her, we'll take the bus. I really don't wanna be a burden to any of you. Me and Grace move out the second I'm cleared to drive again. I promise"
"Oh Mer, this isn't about you being a burden" Derek placed his hand on her arm as she almost flinched away "Sorry- I didn't mean to scare you, I-"
"I'm sorry. It's just a habit" Meredith shook her head as Derek's pager started beeping "I have to go now, we can talk about it tonight. I really don't want any of you to feel obligated to watch Gracie and me"
"I have to go" Derek said as he read his pager "You're not a burden!" He yelled as he ran away which caused Meredith to chuckle slightly before she walked through the doors to the PT room
"Morning Meredith" Anna smiled
"Morning" Meredith quietly replied
"Are you ready to start?" Anna asked softly
"Yeah. Let's get over with it" Meredith smiled softly
As the PT session went smoothly, Addison walked inside
"I'm sorry. Could I talk to Meredith for a minute?" Addison asked
"O-Of course" Meredith nodded from her spot. She wrapped her arms around her body, her gaze fixed on the floor
"Can I sit next to you?" Addison carefully asked
"I- Yeah" Meredith shakily replied
"Meredith, did you and Matt have sex before he did all of this?" Addison asked scared
"We- He.. yeah" Meredith nodded, still not daring to look at Addison
"Did he force you?" Addison asked and Meredith nodded once again "Meredith, any idea when that was?"
"M-Must be 3-4 months" She shakily replied
"Meredith, your bloodwork shows us you're pregnant" Addison softly rubbed Meredith's back
"P-Pregnant? N-No" She shook her head before she started crying "I- Oh god"
"Everything will be okay. You wanna come upstairs with me to OB so we can do an ultrasound?" Addison asked
"O-Okay" Meredith nodded
"Should I page someone?" Addison asked softly
"N-No" Meredith shook her head
Addison grabbed Meredith's hand and walked her to OB
"Okay Meredith. Undress from your waist down and I'll start then" Addison softly said
"Addison.. What- he-" Meredith was lost for words
"Matt is in prison, don't worry about him" Addison rubbed her shoulder
"I can't be pregnant. I killed my baby-"
"You did not kill your baby" Addison said sternly as she started the ultrasound
"Oh-" Meredith gasped as she looked at the screen
"This is your baby" Addison said softly as she checked out the baby
"No.." Meredith whispered, her hand in front of her mouth
"Meet your little girl" Addison smiled softly at Meredith
"A girl?" She smiled at Addison
"It's a girl. You seem to be four months along. You never noticed anything?" Addison asked as she decided to show the baby a little bit longer
"No.. It wasn't unusual to not get my period" Meredkth fidgeted with her hands. She had talked to Addison and Derek about Scott's sick games that he'd forget to make food for her or page her during lunchtime
"It's okay. I do wanna check out your baby. Maybe starting with bloodwork?" Addison suggested
"Thanks Addison" Meredith sighed
"Always" The redhead smiled
Addison did all kinds of tests. She had send Meredith to daycare to go see Grace while she would wait for the results
"Doctor Montgomery?" An interns asked "I have the results for Meredith Grey" He handed her the results
"Oh god" Addison gasped. How was she gonna tell this to Meredith
I'm sorry. I'm aware this update sucked. I just had to change some thing a bit but I'll try and continue the best way possible. I'd love to hear your suggestions on what could be wrong
