<Camilo POV>

I sighed as I waited by the door of Casita to leave.

"Dolores!" I called to my sister.

I didn't even want to do this. It was only because I loved my sister that I was going to this dinner party with her.

It was being thrown by some guys family who Dolores had met on walks.

I don't know why but she had insisted that I attended alongside her.

Hell, it was Friday night.

I didn't want to do this! I could be... entertaining kids in the village. Or... chores.

Instead I had to go to some guys house with my sister.

"You're wearing that?" she asked, pointing at my usual outfit.

I glared at her.

"What's wrong with it?" I demanded, kind of offended.

I loved my yellow-orange poncho!

"Nothing, nothing!" Dolores exclaimed softly.

Shit. I didn't need to raise my voice with her.

"Sorry, Dolores." I muttered.

"Don't worry about it. Lets go." she said with a chirp.

I sighed as we began trekking through the town.

I bet this guy wasn't even good enough for my sister anyways, I figured as I kicked a rock.

I didn't like being sulky but God knows I wasn't happy about this.

"Anyways, hermano... want to tell me about detention today?"

Instantly I grew flustered as I remembered the events of earlier.

Y/n... the flirting thingy... the way her lips had connected to mine...

Y/n fucking Y/l/n had kissed me.

And hell, why deny the fact that although it was unexpected, I had... liked it.

Shit. This definitely wasn't what I had wanted to happen.

Dolores elbowed me.

"Oy!" I exclaimed, rubbing the spot on my arm she had just hit.

"What was that for?" I questioned.

"What happened? With you and Y/n?" Dolores pushed.

I rolled my eyes. "Aye, it was nothing. Besides, why ask if you already know?" I demanded.

Dolores shrugged. "I try blocking it out.  After you guys started... flirting, or whatever that was."

I shifted uncomfortable. "Yes, it was flirting and- damn, Y/n just- ugh." I said frustrated.

"She hates me! Or wants to! Or- I don't know, she just... she's Y/n, Dolores."

"So?" She asked.

That was the thing. I didn't know.

"It means she's complicated. Meaning there is no chance anything would happen between us." Was all I could think to say.

There was no better way to put it.

"But she was the one who kissed you." Dolores conceded.

"Yeah, I suppose so- Oy! How do you know about that?!" I demanded.

She smiled, with a chirp.

"I can tell the difference between a moment of silence, and a kiss, Camilo." she explained.
