chapter 1

coopers pov

i get woken up by my phone ringing, i pick it up and its joko

"hey man! wanna come to the ice rink with me ted, maddi and charlie?"

"uhh sure why not"

"yay! ok be ready in 15"

"alright, bye joko!"
i put on a orange shirt, a white jumper with the words "very cool" on, some black baggy jeans and checkerboard vans with ten minutes to spare, i rush downstairs to get some food.
"hey mom, me, joko, ted, maddi and charlie are going to the ice rink today"

she hands me a bowl of cereal "ok honey have fun and be careful" she says as i start eating. after i finish eating i hear a knock at the door, jokos early for a change. i rush to the door,

"im going now mom bye!"

"bye sweetie" i hear her call from the living
room

~when they get there~

jokos pov

huh the ice hockey team are still here thats strange, theyre usually gone by now.

"guys we'll have to wait for the ice hockey team to finish before we go on the ice"

"we guessed that" ted says as he offers maddi his hand getting a laugh from the rest of them

"ok then stubborn ass"
we then went down to get our skates on trading our shoes in for skates the only people that own their own skates are me and maddi because we do figure skating together. after we went to sit down we watched the people on the ice play, they all looked aggressive. one boy was about to score when another player came and shoved him out of the way causing him to fall, number 21 was brought off of the ice by the coach, another boy following, they took their helmets off and 21s nose was bleeding.

coopers pov

i was scrolling on twitter as i hear

"travis!!!! oh my fuck im so sorry dude!" number 24 said worried

"its ok noah it doesn't hurt that much" 21 said softly

i looked up from my phone to see the prettiest boy i have ever seen having a nose bleed, i could feel my face getting hotter by the second. the coach walked up to joko and asked if the two boys could sit with us for a while and joko being joko said they could.

"ow noah be careful that hurts" said 21

"sorry travis!" "noah" said in a panicked tone

"noah, travis sit here with this group for the rest of the game if youd like you can change out of your kit" spoke up the coach

noah and travis nodded. joko waved at them and they waved back but noah seemed a bit weary of us. i went back to scrolling through twitter hearing a few ows from the pretty boy. he was honestly gorgeous i knew i had fallen hard for the boy ive never met or seen before and i hated it. im not gay never will be but he was so pretty i couldnt stop looking at him

"hi im joko nice to meet you!"joko said in a shaky tone
"im travis and this is noah as you can probably guess"travis said in a bubbly tone noah just scoffed
"sorry about him he doesnt like new people"
"its fine" i said.

travis's pov 

i looked at the boy who spoke and i saw a beautiful blonde boy, my cheeks turned a lightish pink colour

"helloooooo earth to travis are you ok?" noah said
"y-yeah im fine" i said immediately snapping out of my trance, noah looked at me with a concerned look on his face

"youre nose isnt bleeding anymore do you want me to ask coach if we can go back on the ice?"

"uh sure im not sure he'll let us back on though" i said

"its worth a try" noah said boldly as he got up and left i looked back at the boy i had fallen in love with god he was so handsome

"hey, nice to meet you" i said to the blonde boy who looked up and froze with a surprised expression

"uhh hey im cooper" he said after some time just as he said that noah came running back almost falling on his skates blades

"hes letting us back on travis!! come on lets go!" he said as he dragged me off, i looked back at the boys and waved goodbye, i was put in goal, surprisingly,i looked back to see cooper watching me play  he mouthed the words "hey cutie" to me and my eyes widened we just met and hes flirting oh my god hes so handsome i have definitely fallen hard

coopers pov again

i mouthed the words "hey cutie" to him and i think he noticed because his eyes went wide. i think joko saw me moth those words to him and he looked at me and grinned

"so you have the hots for travis" he whispered in my ear

"what no what are you talking about?!" i shouted, ted, maddi and charlie all looked at us and i turned bright red

"he has the hots for that travis guy" joko whispered to them

"i am not gay!" i whisper shouted at the 4 of them

"youre just in denial" chalie chimed in

"i am not" i snapped back at him

"are you sure?" questioned ted

"shhhhhh shut up shut up" i shushed them all, they all looked at each other with grins on their faces. i looked back at travis but he was busy defending the goal to look at me he was so handsome i just wanted to cuddle him all day long but i knew it would be impossible i dont have his number or anything so i cant message him i wish i could.

the game ended fairly quickly travis's team won, they all went to the changing rooms to change into their normal clothes to leave but travis didnt leave he walked back up to my group

"hey cooper can i get your number?" he asked noah and another boy stood behind him

"sure" i replied and i gave him it while noah and the other dude talked

"travis, noah do you wanna hang on the ice longer with us?" joko asked

"id love to!! can we noah can we?!" he asked

"fine travis fine carson has to stay too though"noah scoffed

the funny thing is ive never been ice skating before in my life and i know none will help me so his will be embarrassing for me
