When I was 7, I was whisked away from my farm to what my parents referred to as "the big city". Truthfully, this town was a few store closures away from being completely deserted. Around the time I turned 17, people were beginning to show up from all over to live here as small town living was suddenly the hottest new trend. I guess my parents weren't so far off, after all.

I'm now 25, still living in this not-so-small town where subdivisions line the streets and the downtown area is an actual downtown now with high end shopping, restaurants, and general nightlife. Things are great on the surface, but things are not what they seem here. In fact, things here are bad, really bad. I feel eyes watching me wherever I go, especially after the stories I've heard and the things I've seen.
