I gaze upon the heavens,
The wind silently whispering past my ear.
As I watch a meteor shower,
Legend says that if you wish upon a
falling star it will become true.
But each time a star falls from above
All I get is grief, anger, and misfortune.

The rosy sunset filled my mind
Remembering what happened that day.
I looked into the mirror
A reflection of me staring back with
Tears streaming down.
We were friends, companions I shall say.
We've been through thick and thin, we promised to be there for each other.
But on that sunny yet dark day you broke that promise.
Tears full of regret, anger, happiness, joy still falls down my face.
And that still can't make you come back into my arms. But someone wise once told me "don't cry because it ended, smile because it happened." And I'm happy that I got to meet you and cherished you every day.
Now my end of the promise is to live life to the fullest for you and me.
May the heavens take care of you, My shining Angel.
