As I lay in my bed on Monday morning in my college dorm I lay there realizing that I'm finally in college , new goals new dreams new accomplishments. I pick up my phone as I see messages & missed calls from my bestfriend Nikki . Me and Nikki have been bestfriends since kindergarten & we are now both in college together. Nikki's message : Lauren get up it's time to look around campus get dressed . Once I seen her message I finally rolled out of my bed & got ready to meet Nikki on campus. I headed to the bathroom preparing my shower and getting my hygiene together. I got out the shower and put on a cropped shirt & some sweat pants with my crocs.
9:30 AM
I grabbed my phone along with my mini purse & proceeded to leave my dorm. As I'm leaving my dorm I see a boy with dreads brown skin nice teeth & he dressed decent we locked eyes with each other but didn't say a word I just proceeded to meet Nikki . Nikki : HEY BESTIEEEEEE Me; HEY BESTIE . After greeting each other me and Nikki continued walking around campus then we decided to get something to eat Nikki: Okay best I want pancakes and bacon what about you? I was dazed away daydreaming about the boy that I had just saw moments before meeting up with Nikki Nikki : Helloooo earth to Laurennnn Me: Oh im sorry best I want waffles with cheese eggs and bacon Nikki : You okay ? Me: of course why wouldn't I be ? Nikki : don't know just wondering Me: Oh yeah no I'm fine Nikki : Okay

After finishing breakfast Me and Nikki decided to go back to our dorms for the day. There wasn't much going on on campus that day so🤷🏾♀️
