"Hello professor" Aurora called walking into the headmasters office, smiling at the sight of a young Fawkes pitched on his stand, she reached out a hand stroking his fiery feathers

"Ms Black, please take a seat" Dumbledore said walking down the stairs from his private library smiling at the sight of the young girl.

Aurora took a seat at the other side of the desk sitting across from the headmaster who clasped his hands together "Thank you professor"

"I assume you know why your here?" He asked quirking a grey eyebrow

Aurora put her legs up on the armrest of the chair reminding Dumbledore so much of her father and the many visits he had made to this very room. "If I had to hazard a guess I'd say it was about my powers"

"Correct" he said with a smoke getting up and walking over to a line of glass shelves, he plucked up a gem necklace "this should hide you"

"Thanks" she said taking it and putting it in her bag "I've been practicing" she chirped

He nodded gesturing for her to demonstrate, she nodded taking a letter opener and cutting her palm soon her hand began to heal slowly

"Very good, don't do that often" he said inspecting her hand " its still draining you, take the day off " he added, aurora nodded taking a seat again feeling dizzy

"Dose Sirius know about my powers?" She asked putting on the necklace, he nodded "Well that complacates things" she mumbled grabbing her bag

"Thank you professor"

"Thanks" aurora mumbled sarcastically as Hermione gave her a list of the homework

"Welcome" Hermione said with a smile walking out of their dorm Aurora rolled her eyes this was a big downside to being best friends with Hermione

"Hey" Harry said from the doorway, Aurora patted the spot next to her not looking up from the book, her hair fell in a curtain at her side she scribbled notes with her quill

"Free period?" She asked looking up he nodded taking a seat next to her

He smiled at her amazed at how she always looked so adorable reading, whether it be from a novel or a textbook. He just loved the way her eyes were always glued onto the page, jumping from word to word. And he also loved looking at her mouth, watching it mouth the words on the page without you even realizing it.

"Ok im officially bord" she announced dramatically pushing the books off her lap, Harry smiled deviously making Aurora's eyes widen "no, no, no" she said jumping from the bed, he followed

"you cant out run me" he smiled cheekily at her walking closer

"But, harry..." she whined, trailing off as he before sprinting out of the room. Suddenly arms wrapped around her waist pulling her back

Harry looked down and smiled at her. Despite the weird looks he was getting from other people, who sat in the common room

"No tickles" she said with puppy eyes trying to stop the small smile on her face, harry pretended to look defeated nodding glumly

"What now?" He asked reluctantly letting go of her waist the last thing he needed was to look clingy. Aurora shrugged

"I have some Bertie bots beans" she said "one with the most good wins" he nodded following her back up the stairs
