Last night Emily told me Stefan said he loved her. I know, that's a lot to process. But, it just feels... different with her lately. For example, we were filming a "Going back to Middle School for a Day" on Piper's YouTube channel, and when she kicked the back of my seat to purposely be annoying, I saw her in a way I have never seen before. But I'm sure I don't like her.. I think? I can't- She's Elliana's best friend and wouldn't date her best friends ex. "Hi Emily!" I say walking in Piper's house. I hug her. It feels like we hugged forever even though we only did for like 5 seconds. "You look so beautiful today." I blurt. Ummm I did not mean to say that. "Oh, thank you." She says. "You look cute yourself." Wait what?! Did she just flirt with me back? I mean- I wasn't trying to flirt in the first place but sometimes I accidentally speak my mind. Emily laughs. "Anyways, I was thinking maybe we could go watch a movie?" She asks looking nervous. "Um, yeah." I say. "LEV, PIPER!" I say calling the rest of the squad down. "No silly!" She says. "I mean just you and me." I blush. "Oh, alright." I say. "WHAT?" Lev shouts from Piper's room. "Uhhhh nevermind!" I shout back. We get into my new car and drive. I finally got my license. "Thanks for coming with me." Emily says. "Anything for you." I say. Dang, that sounded cringy. "Oh no!" Emily gasps. We just then arrive at the theater with the reclining chairs. "What?" I question. "It's Elliana... she's FaceTiming me!" "What do I do?" I think. Just keep the phone faced towards the roof of the car. "Ok." She says. "Hi Ellie!" I say. "Hi! What are you doing?" Elliana asks. "Not much." Emily says. Keep it cool, I say to myself. She doesn't have to find out. "Are you in Jentzen's new car?" She asks. How does she know what the roof of the inside of my car looks like? "Yes." Emily says. I sigh. It's over it's over it's over. "We're at Target." She lies. I sigh again, but this time of relief. "Oh." Elliana says. "Because your Snapchat location says otherwise."
