The basic human instinct is kill or be killed, this plays a big part in the story between an alluring kook and her two love affairs: Rafe Cameron and Nate Jacobs. Both so similar yet so different, raging daddy issues, toxic traits and addictive tendencies. One would say unique the other would say individual but they both share the same desire to crush yet care for one of their biggest weakness.

"Mom im leaving now ill text you when I get there" Maddie hollared into the living room,"ok have a safe journey honey" she half heatedly responds. Maddie knew that her mom cared about her deep down, things were tough between her mom and dad but she brushes it off and makes her way to the ferry. She hauled her suitcase along waiting for her all-clear to board. She was unhinged with excitement to see her best friend Sarah Cameron. Maddie hadn't seen Sarah in what felt like years (a month to be precise ). Maddie hated boats, anything to to with the Ocean in fact, something about the amount of pee and poo and gathered shit just didn't sit right with her. She grimaced at the sight of the open water that surrounded her but pulled her shades up and put her headphones in and decided to bathe on the top deck. The sun rays beamed off her, enticing anyone who mearly looked in her direction. She was something else and she knew it.

After a short ride from the mainland she arrived at outer banks, it was not much compared to her city girl life at home but there was something attractive she found about the way the island was split into two:the kooks and the Pogues. It gave her a sense of almightyness and supremacy, almost like she got the appriciation she deserved and wasn't surrounded by complete incompetence. She hated people who had a weak persona, they would leech off her sides. Maddie got enough attention and she knew it, she didn't have to show off to impress people she only ever did if It was full of intention, her plans always worked.

"MADDIE" Sarah bellowed while running into her best friend. "Girl that boat was de-scust-ing" Maddie drooled "but my god have I missed you gorgous" she followed. The two girls eloped into hug. "We have planned a welcome back party for you tonight if your down?" "of course im down what kind of fucking idiot would turn down a party?!" Maddie replied "wait who's we?" Sarah shifted her weight awkwardly as she replied "me, Rafe and Topper." Maddies face was a picture the smug look on her face was followed with "oh your back together now?" She knew it, her and topper were a cute couple, however he was nothing special, Maddie thought she could do much better but she kept that too her self, well, most of the time. "Well regardless he's Rafes best friend so it was a joint decision. Rafes been asking about you he hasn't seen you since you were 15." Its true, when ever Maddie came to see Sarah, Rafe has always been out of town with his dad doing business or water the fuck they do. "Ok well shall we get ready?" Maddie beams with excitement. The girls jump in Sarahs G-wagon and head towards Tannyhill. It was gorgeous, the way the landscaped garden rose and fell with the slight curve of the hills and the captivating structure of the building was simply beautiful. It was bliss.

The outfits

They entered Sarahs room and started pulling outfit together. The theme was quite standard for a boneyard party, some wore beach attire the others full out, either way the majority was half naked... well at least some point during the night anyway. The girls did their makeup making sure they looked their very best, Sarahs was quite minimalistic and Maddy took a mental note only adding a few gems here and there. "you look so hot" Sarah squealed as she watched her best friend turn around to face her in a teal\co-ordinated two piece which hugged her curves perfectly and emphasised just how small her waist is. "oh please have you seen your self your boobs looks amazing!" Sarah was wearing sequin purple top which showed just the right amount of cleavage, however risky it may be."so who is going tonight?" Maddie asks."oh just Rafe topper a few kooks and Pogues" "A FEW POUGES"Maddie questions while giving Sarah a look of descust. "they are not that bad and a few of them are super sexy too" Sarah says giving her a cheeky wink, Maddie rolls her eyes "ok I suppose we should get going."
