"Courtney! Honey, it's time for school!!!!!" I groan as I hear my mom call from downstairs. It was hard enough to start school after summer, but to start a new one, for my senior year was pretty brutal. Mom made us relocate closer to Aunt Mia so she didn't feel, "alone." And just to make my situation worse, I was stuck with my annoying cousin, Katie. Last year, when we came down for her birthday, she and her best friend were squealing the entire time and just being plain irritating. How Aunt Mia dealt with her on a daily basis was beyond me.

I slowly got up and trudged towards my closet. Luckily, I found my favorite black tank top and dark shorts. I unbraid my long hair, so it's wavy all the way down. I grab my heart necklace, which was an old gift from my dad, and hook it around my neck. It's a good luck charm. I do my eyeliner and mascara. I look at the clock. 8:30. Mom said school started at 9:00. I was more than likely going to be late.

I hurry down the stairs to find my younger brother, Liam watching Tom and Jerry downstairs. I grab the waffles that are in the toaster. Thanks Mom. As I stuff a waffle in my mouth, I tie up my black converse. "Bye Twerp." Since Liam is only 3, he doesn't have to go to school, but gets to stay with Aunt Mia, who owns her own business. I run out towards my little red buggy, my prized possession.

Eating the rest of my waffle, I start the car and drive towards my hell. Once I end up actually finding a parking spot, I walk quickly inside. Whoa. It's crowded as hell in here. There are people crowded in the main office, hallways, everybody talking at their lockers. Lucky for me, I got my schedule in the mail. Now all I have to do is find my damn locker.....

I'm looking at my paper and trying to find my locker when I suddenly bump into someone strong and taller than me. I drop all my stuff which was resting in my arms. "Shit....." I state as I try to pick up my stuff as quick as possible. "Sorry." A deep voice states. "No it's my fault. I'm such a klutz, always dropping my shit." He laughs and I finally look up. Damn. He has enchanting blue eyes and piercings all over his face. His smile is perfectly aligned, showing his perfect white teeth. He has a bright green mohawk. I realize I've been staring a second too longer and blush, look down and concentrate on my disarray papers.

Finally I pick them up, and stand up quickly. The mystery guy stands up also and hands me something. It's another one of my papers. I blush and take it. "Thanks. And sorry again." "Don't mention it." He gives me another charming smile and walks off with his friend with the cowboy hat. I look at him for a second, walking away, laughing.

I shake my head out of its daydream glaze and scurry off to my locker, hoping to make it to class before the bell.
