*Doc took you and me to his garage to show us something.*
Me: Okay, Doc, what did you want to show us?
Doc: You'll see! It's a surprise!
*He flipped on the lights and showed them his racing career. All three Piston Cups that he won in his career. We were all stunned, especially Lightning.*
Lightning: I don't believe it..........I..! You're the Hudson Hornet?!
Doc: Not just the Hudson Hornet, Lightning! The Fabulous Hudson Hornet!
Y/N: Woah! Holy taillights!
Me: You can say that again, bro! My dad told me about you, Doc! I mean look at those Piston Cups!
Doc: Oh...... they're just a bunch of empty cups............!
*Lightning could tell there was something wrong.*
Lightning: Doc, what happened? Why did you quit?
Doc: I didn't quit! They quit on me!
Y/N: They?
Me: They who?
*Doc flipped another switch and under it was a piece of newspaper stapled to the wall, talking about Doc's wreck in 1954.*
Lightning: Oh my God! Your big wreck in '54. It ended your career.
Doc: That's right, Lightning! When I finally got put back together, I went back expected a big welcome, but you know what they said? "You're history! Move right out for the next rookie standing in line!" There was a lot left in me and I never got to show them!
Lightning: Doc, I'm sorry to hear that!
Y/N: Does anyone else know about this?
Doc: No........! At least not yet.........!
Me: Doc, I understand you don't want to show them, but you can't keep it a secret for much longer. One of these days, they'll find out.
Doc: You're right, Ryan! Thanks! I'll go tell them about it as soon as we're done on the race track at Willy's Butte. I'm gonna train you for the race in California!
Lightning: Really?
Doc: Yep! I'm gonna show you how to turn right to go left. You'll see what I mean when we get to the race track!
Me: I'm in!
Y/N: Me too!
Lightning: Count me in too!
*At Willy's Butte, Doc was showing us his trick, which was to turn right to go left. Which actually means drifting on dirt.*
Lightning: Woah! That was amazing!
Doc: Thanks, kid! Now, you guys try it!
Me: Yes, sir!
*We started going 50 laps around the track and managed to do what Doc just did.*
Doc: Alright! Great job, boys!
Lightning: Thanks, Doc!
Note: Next chapter will be where Doc tells everyone, including the former delinquents, and Doc also recommending us to go shopping!
