Emily was in the shower to get ready for work, you still lay in her sheets, absorbing the rich smell of her. Reluctantly, you make your way to the edge of the bed to get up at last so you wouldn't be late. You love your job, but when things get slow, you took joy in imagining the dirty things you wanted Emily Prentiss to do to you. The way she would hold the tip of her pen against her lips when she would be thinking. Everything she did would arouse you. Although, the whole, "murderers and death" thing was a pretty quick turn-off.
You got ready and headed towards the kitchen to see Emily making some avocado toast. You swooped in and stole a bit from her food, kissing her softly on the cheek and smiling. Emily just rolled her eyes with a smile.
With that, you both head into the office. Before you get out of the car, Emily pulls you by the collar of your shirt, gently, leaving you an inch from her face. Your noses brush together gently. Closing your eyes, you feel her tongue asking for permission into your slightly gaping mouth. It was gentle and slow. After a good minuter, she pulls away, leaving you aching. You whine quietly, hungry for her lips. The taste of her lingering on your tongue.
"Not here," Emily says to you with a lustful gaze. Looking around the parking lot, she does a double take out of her window. "FUCK", she panicked. Turning back to face the front. A look of panic etched across her face.
"What?? What?" You say, looking out of her window until you see him. David Rossi. He had pulled up in his luxury car in the spot next to Emily's car. You didn't know how long he had been there, but he was making eye contact with a conspicuous look on his face. Immediately, you slam your head back against your headrest and pretend you never saw him. Emily closed her eyes in disbelief. Had we been caught? You slowly look back in the direction of Rossi's car - he's gone. A wave of relief passed through you, however, it was short-lived. There was a knock on Emily's window. Rossi. Emily rolled down the window, barely able to make eye contact with the man standing outside of her window with a smirk on his face. You look over at Rossi and quickly look away, turning a deep shade of crimson. Clearing her throat, Emily spoke feverishly.
"David! H-hi! Erm good morning." She uttered out, trying and failing horribly at remaining composed. David looked at her, then at you, and smirked.
"Yeah.." Rossi started with a brow raised, "Well Hotch called, we've got a bad one, he wants us up there in 5." He pauses, "Just thought I'd... give you two a heads up...". David winked. He turned and walked away before you or Emily could utter a word. Looking at each other, you both take a deep breath and head for the office.
Anxiety filled your gut. You feel Emily staring at you, alone in the elevator with you. She sensed your unease. You stood in front of her, as she leaned against the back wall of the elevator with her foot propped up. She moves to stand directly behind you, closing the space between your bodies. Letting out a shaky breath, she brushes your hair behind your ear gently, whispering quietly, "Breath, Y/N... It's okay." Her hot breath tingled your ear, sending shivers down your back. The pit in your stomach immediately lifted a bit. You rolled your head, stretching your neck and resting it against the warm figure behind you. All feelings of unease were lifted. The elevator dings, Emily steps back to her original position as the doors slid open. Smiling to yourself, you allowed yourself to walk out, knowing that it would be easy to remain within such intimate proximity of Emily Prentiss, for all of your waking hours. No one has ever been able to calm you down as fast and with such ease as her.
Walking into the briefing room, You and Emily sit down synchronously. The rest of the team was already there besides Hotch. The door opens and Hotch comes in with a furrowed brow (as usual).
"Good morning," He started shortly, "A small town in Washington already has 4 bodies, we'll brief on the plane. Wheels up in 20." The group disperses and makes their way to the jet.
You and Emily are chatting, walking into the jet 10 minutes later. Rossi was the first one on the plane as usual. He was reading up on the case file as he looked up at the two of you. Emily briefly pauses but plays it off quickly. "Hey." She mutters, sitting in her usual seat next to yours. Everyone normally sat in the same seat on the jet. Conveniently (sarcasm lmao) both you and Emily sat across from Rossi. You look up and smile shyly. The anxiety was eating up at you once again. The tension in the jet could be cut with a blade.
"Listen," Rossi's voice started calmly, talking to you and Emily, "I get it. I have no intention of telling anyone about this morning. I'm only saying this so you don't have to worry about it needlessly." He says knowingly with a warm smile. You and Emily looked up at each other, then at Rossi.
"Thank you, Dave," Emily says with an exhale, "I- we appreciate it." She looks back at you who returns her smile. You nod.
"Thank you, sir." You say awkwardly but relieved. You hadn't been at the BAU too long so you mainly remained formal with talking to your superiors. This is partially to blame for your social anxiety but it's alright.
"Okay, enough with the 'sir' kiddo," Dave chuckles. You laugh shyly.
"Yeah, sorry about that," You reply with a laugh. The rest of the team starts to file in. When everyone is here, the jet takes off and you settle into your seat as Hotch starts briefing everyone on the case.
