Beck revealed Peter's identity and mine,I was watching the news on my phone at the time "Spiderman's real name is Peter Parker,and his sister Y/n Parker also known as the winter soldiers daughter"
"What the shit"I say,about to bring my coffee to my lips "I'm NOT the winter soldier's daughter,I'm Bucky Barnes daughter"now were being hassled non-stop.I start running home as fast as I can.I'm glad Opheila now has nothing to do with me,she moved away and long distance didn't help so we did a healthy thing and broke it off,I guess it just never meant to be.
"May,May open the door again,please"I yell,May opens the door and ushers me in.
All we do is hide,helicopters are around everywhere.Then there's a knock at the door,a lot of agents come in,they are taking us in for questioning but I'm not saying a damn thing not without a lawyer.
"So Y/n Parker-Barnes,"He gets cut off
"I'm not talking not without a lawyer"I say simply
We get released back home,and I ended up locking myself in my room but then we had to move into Happy's place for security since everyone knew where Peter lived.
I share a bed with May upstairs since there isn't that many couches in Happy's place. "May"
"Mm"She responds
"I'm nervous"I tell her
"Why's that honey"She rolls over to face me
"Well Beck revealed my identity with being the Winter Soldier's daughter,technically I'm Bucky's but if I say that I have feeling people will get the picture that Dad was once the Winter soldier and I don't want him to be getting hate from people about it.I'm also worried about college and all that sort of stuff"I ramble
"Y/n,sweetheart.I swear to you everything will work out how it is supposed to and I'll be there every step of the way"May says,squeezing my hand in comfort.
Today is the day we go back to school and I am not looking forward to it,I get ready to go,I leave the house with Peter.Once we arrive People are crowded around everywhere,I immediately look down.Peter putting an arm around me in comfort,still though I look down. "Look it's the ghost stories daughter"
"Omg she is so pretty!" "Like hang on isn't she like gay or something"
"Why is she even here today" "She is so brave" "Omg I wanna have babies with her"
We get put through a scanner,Peter and I have to go through first.There's crowds of students everywhere,taking pictures.Both Peter and I hate all the attention on us,so this is really overwhelming.I try and find somewhere to hide,I go up onto the roof "Oh there you all are"I say gaining their attention.On the roof sat Peter,MJ and Ned.
As days go by letters from universities come through but were still waiting for our ones from MIT.The last one for us both came through,we then run as fast as we can to get to the cafe MJ works at,we show our letters.We walk to sit down by Ned "Ready"
"Jones I told you to take down the halloween decorations"
"Actually that was Sasha"MJ responds
"I don't care just do it"
"On it"MJ says
"I feel like I'm gonna puke"Ned says
"Please don't,he'll just make me clean it up"MJ says,in disgust.We look around at each other
"You guys ready"MJ says
"Yeah"I respond. "On 3?" They nod
"1,2,3"MJ counts,we all hurryingly open our letters,they couldn't consider my application at this time,I was disappointed to say the least.
"I mean this is so not fair,I didn't do anything wrong"Peter says "And you guys didn't do anything wrong"
Flash comes in singing and dancing in an MIT jumper
"You guys didn't get in?"Flash says
"Yeah cause were actually friends with spiderman"Ned responds
After that I just leave and go home
"Did you get in?"May asks,excitingly
"No,they couldn't even consider my application at this time,same with Peter's,Ned's and MJ's"I tell her.
"Aww Y/n,I'm sure everything will calm down soon,any university will be lucky to have you,you are so incredibly smart."
"Thanks May"I smile. "I actually do know that,I hacked into Stark industries once on a dare"I tell her
"I got webcam footage and made a nice slideshow of all the beautiful angles i got and showed them on every screen in the building"I confess
"That was you?!?!?!"Happy exclaimed
"Yeah,were you there?"I ask
"Yeah so was Tony,he wanted hire the person who did it,"He says
"Well then hahahaha"I laugh
After a little while,Peter came home "Hey Pete,what's up"I greet
"Not a lot gonna go talk to someone"He told me
"Ooo can I come with?"I ask "I'm incredibly bored"
"Alright fine,get into something nice ish"He tells me
"Fine,give me 5 minutes"I tell him,I hope he doesn't mean a dress since I gonna go in a pants suit
"Alright I'm ready"I say
"Come on sis,we gotta hurry"He says,he grabs me and we start swinging
"Peter!Warn me next time"I shout at him.I then get a call from Dad
"Hold on one moment"I say,as I answer
"Hey Dad,what's up"I say
"Hey Doll,just checking up on ya.It's been a little while"He says
"Yeah it has dad uh,my identity was revealed.Everyone knows me as the ghost stories daughter"I tell him
"Oh right,I'm sorry Doll,you shouldn't have to be dealing with something that has nothing to do with you"He says sincerely
"It's fine Dad,it's not like you can help it because it wasn't you"I tell him
"Yeah,I guess and also are you like in a plane or something?"He asks
"No I am currently swinging with Peter,were going to be talking to someone,I don't know who because Peter hasn't told me"I say
"Hey Mr.Barnes"Peter greets
"Parker"He replies
"Dad be nice remember he's family"I scold him
"Sorry Doll,look I gotta go but we'll talk soon ok"He says
"Ok dad we'll talk soon.I love you"I tell him
"I love you too,Doll and I guess you too Parker"He says,he hangs up just as we land in traffic
"Uh Peter what the fuck?"I question
"You'll see"He says,I stay behind him until we reach a car but I stay back,I know who this is.
