Your eyes flutter open, to the ceiling of your room. It was nicely lit by the sun peaking through your window. You analyzed every imperfect spot, in your room's design. Randomly, you lifted your hands straight into the air, pointing your wrists down and fingers dangling. You crossed your arms over each other to were they touched you elbows. Your eyes were still heavy, but that was quickly changed after you remembered Beverly Marsh. Your eyes widen at the sudden realization as you stared at a poster in your room. You slowly but surely pulled the covers off of you and stood up. You smacked your lips a few times and squinted your eyes, as an attempt to fully awaken your body. You walk to your bathroom, rubbing your eyes. You see your water bottle next to your tooth brush. You take a sip of it..or two then set it back into its place.

"FUCK-" you shout a bit when you realize that you look up at the clock in the hallway of your house from your bathroom doorway. You stumble to your dresser and fall to your knees, practically ripping the handle of your dresser. You pull out a outfit suitable for the warm yet brisk day, it being only the first day of summer. You throw your on clothes, taking one last check in the mirror before running out the door of your house. You slip on your dirty sneakers and stumble a bit. You take off running, the drug store was about five blocks away, and you didn't own a bike so running was kinda your thing.

Your feet slide at every corner until you finally see a freshly painted sign Al's Pharmacy. Despite it being called a pharmacy, drug store was the shorter term for it. You admired the sign for a second, normally this crappy town wouldn't pay for stuff like that. Your eyes scan down the maroon sign with white paint, to the window, and then two blue eyes that meet yours. Beverly waved over to you, you puffed a bit jogging over to her.

"What's up Y/N?" Beverly cooly asked.

"Just, decided-...to get a run in." You replied with your hands on your hips, breathing heavily. Beverly just smirked at you and then opened the door, the bell rang as she entered. Your eyes focused to something on the window besides sale signs.

"I just have to get some things and then we can go hangout at like the park or something.." beverly's muffled voice said. You stared at a crumpled piece of paper, the tape clinging onto the glass for dear life. The thick black words read..... missing. The font made the word sting into your blood. Your eyes slightly widened. Beverly turned around holding the door for you, she paused her sentence when seeing you lost in thought, staring at the piece of paper.

"The glass window of a pharmacy must be WAYYY more interesting then I am..." Beverly joked, laughing to herself. You snapped back into the reality of you hanging out with Beverly Marsh. You gave a weak smile.

"My bad..." You say dropping your smile and rushing into the store. Beverly's eyes followed you a bit worried, she let go of the metal door handle and followed you in. You started to wonder around a bit, looking at random magazines advertising new ways to loose weight fast, and the latest celebrity drama. Beverly walked to the women section that supplied tampax and cheap hair ties and make up products. You pick up a magazine from the shelf.....Top 10 songs & artists today......the bold letters read. You tilted your head, you didn't know why but you decided you were interested enough to purchase it...after all it had your favorite band on the cover. Maybe you could make it into a poster or something. You take the magazine and walk around the aisle to go find Beverly. Your eyes turn the corner only to find the group of losers, you snap your head forward about to change isle quickly before bumping into a rushing Beverly.

"OH- sorry Bev-" Your eyes dart to her blue eyes then the boys staring at you.

"What are you doing?" A small boy wearing a salmon colored polo asked as if he owned the store. Beverly quickly hid the tampons behind her back, you both were a bit flustered.
